I don't have a new years resolution but ever since being promoted this season I have my eyes set firmly on SEA GM, whenever I can make it; be it in 2 seasons or even HOTS. Generally to train hard and be disciplined in SC2 and other areas of my life.
I don't really have any new years resolution because everything is pretty sweet in my real life right now - just closed on our dream house, newly married, and secure in employment - can't ask for much more than that.
My new years resolution for Starcraft was going to be get Grandmasters, but I managed that earlier than New Years, so I think my new years resolutions will be small strategy improvements
1. I want to incorporate more warp prism harass into my playstyle in the midgame instead of only doing it in the lategame when I can warp in 10 DTs at once. I think there's room to explore stuff here.
2. I want to get my midgame scouting vs Zerg to be more constant and consistent - I tend to just float my observers over their base and never actually move it around or even look at what its seeing.
3. I want to improve my forcefielding to the degree where they actually win me games where I shouldn't have won.
1. i'd like to get to the skill level where i can start offering coaching services for a fee (like pig and others from TGM!). Im considering offering a few hr's p/w of free coaching for now to get some mad coaching skillz and build a bit of a name for myself. this will also help me with my replay analysis - which is only a good thing! And when i improve (lots!), move into charging for the coaching.
2. Building on #1, i definately want to win (or place top 3 if theres some mad gosu's there) a few good sized tournys! Especially at a big LAN would be awesome
3. Build a name/(good)rep & get some mad respect for myself in SEA ^^
4. Top 16 (and then 8!) SEA GM
5. NA GM season 6/7/8 would be rly nice. NA GM is so much more competitive than SEA (mid-low range!)
1. jogging and kinect fitness stuff daily.
2. stream a few games every friday, learn a build order and document its effectiveness in this way series called Design a build order!
3. Remember to scout and macro cycle.
4. Do work related tasks on the day i get them and not leave it
Assist the site more and grow QeD to a bigger better clan.
Make it to platinum by actually hot keying more stuff more often.
Return to bjj and muahthai competitions do I can win in real life as well as online
The biggest thing for making sure your wedding goes well is to not think too much about making it go well.
The one thing that will ruin a wedding more than a plan falling through is stressing about the plan falling through. The day will never go entirely according to plan no matter how meticulous you are, so relax and enjoy the day.
- Get back into SC2 (Haven't really played or felt motivated)
- Get a job
- Achieve a GPA of 3-4 in my postgrad
- Get a Girlfriend or at least get laid 10-50 times this year.
Yeah sounds pretty solid small goals for the year.
