Can you give any advice for Terran in TvP, Kringe?
Im sure there's plenty we can help with :P
If there's a toss that needs some help next time we're all on, Kringe and I can probably go through it from both perspectives.
It's definitely the matchup I feel like I understand the best, too.
And breadfan tonnes, firstly the games i lost to terrans were because they read my play so well, scaning my army and base to see tech, next army comps eg my norm army comp is zeal archon, so u go marine few marauder ghost, next biggest thing u have to choose good engagements, protoss rely on good positions to win battles and finally pressuere do multi drops and when u push do a drop so if u lpse u still do damage
Sounds sweet Kringe... I will see you in chat! Problem is my fingers cant keep up with what my minds is telling them to do. The cons of getting old.. :P
Guys in this next coming week, I want to pay particular focus to the BSG/PD teams of the SEACL. Tonight im editing the format for the training sessions, to make it easier for me because last weeks I was like on every night at every training session :P.
But key point we have for improvement at the moment:
MACRO!!!!!
So whenever you guys are on, I should be on most nights and we can go through some games and shape up and form new systems to improve ourselves as players.
Just ask people for customs any time in the chat. At the very least you can just observe some of the higher level practice games and ask some questions. If you want to watch some TvZ come on friday night...
Well over the last week or so, our Clan Training Sessions haven't been as effective as I've wanted them to be :P Due to over commitments and SEA tournaments I have decided to change up the format of the official training sessions guys.
I would also like to add before making this announcement....
Seriously guys I have seen how hard you guys have been working towards shaping up and improving in all order to compete in the SEACL, you guys are awesome, such dedication so to all you guys and I know that we are going to be a dominant force this SEACL ;D ToR Wiiiiiniiiiing
Okay guys now to the Format, which will be implemented over this current week.
As both Tuesday and Thursday is out due to the SEACL Match Days: So I thought the current format would be appropriate.
Monday Nights: Tier 5 Practice
So I figured since its the night before the Match Day for you guys. To get some practice in would be really good. Additionally some of the Higher Tier players wouldn't mind helping out im sure with pointing out a few tips and helping out those members who ask for it (: they all good guys (Except Dan ).
Sorry its such short notice for tonight guys, but regardless there has been a decent turnout and number of players who have been actively participating with others who practice and want to improve.
Wednesday Night: Tier 4 Team "Dem Drop Bears"
Similar to the Tier 5 team. We will just spend the night dedicated to practicing with others and hopefully getting some help out from the ballers (Not to mention everyone in ToR who is a baller to me anyway ^^)
Friday Nights: Tier 3 Team "ToR A Team"
Now for you guys who are in the A Team Line up, I figured that to practice amongst your selves would be really good, getting a few games going and then commenting on each others builds. Also it would be good if you guys would allow some of those who want to observe and watch your play from the Clan, if you guys could do so that would be Saaaaawwweeeeeet . I should be here and there, around places but the organising should be on you guys as I should be a bit precoccupied with the NZ Cup.
Saturday Nights: Clan Wide Practice
Yes I know those of us who have a life (MUAHAHHAHA ) Would be out SAturday nights and enjoying time with friends and that, which im completely cool with ^_^ I on occasion leave the confines of my room (Not too often) but this is an open invitation to come along and practice with each other and so we can all help each other, despite of league race and whatever and really just shape up as a Team and as a Community.
Because we are in it to help each other out after all
The standard times apply to the practice sessions 7pm AEDT or 9pm NZST whatever its called.
Anyways guys, thank you all for all your effort your putting in, it really shows your commitment to the Clan and the ToR Community. For that guys I sincerely thank you
P.S keep sending through those emails to mine as well all.
crux won't be doing this we just practice all the time when people are online the setting up on time things for us is more when some1 wants a match gone over and we have say a 4 hour session on pvt tvp ^_^ its cool to see though defferent styles work for different people
Haha we do all the time as well mate ^^, but this is a better more effective way to develop and build on our community already. (: develops relationships between members and forms connections ^_^
I'm going to be setting up a crux session on tvp / pvt if the masters + players of ToR want to join us more than welcome spartaz itl be on the little things that are getting terrans killed atm which is why im saying masters + as the diamond - players may struggle but they are welcome to watch if wanted. It'll also help protoss get better as listed below.
From Terran point of view the outline will be going over
- Battle position (pre and what to micro in battle)
- Unit composition
- Timings (when to take a 3rd when to scout the toss, when to missile turret up)
- Map aggression (take those ******* towers)
From Protoss
- Unit composition (colos or templar?)
- How to counter the 1/1/1 (and variations)
- Scout timings (original and when to bring him back)
- Safe expanding (whats the timing on cloak banshees)
- Battle micro (before and during)
- Chronoboost (what to do with it on 2 base/3 base)
I'll be looking at doing this on a sunday/monday night most likely
