don't worry im sure a few days before the tournament everything will be updated as long as you have signed up your name will appear if not ill just help add it on that day

1. there might be some changes to the format of the open tournament depending on the amount of participants. i am considering changing the bo3 to bo5.

2. the exact cut off time for gm ladder is set to 23:59 sgt on 10/07.

. He is dia on ladder but plays on master(if not GM) level, he also made another account by the name of don into masters. His main account isnt masters only cause he doesnt ladder much...

hope we do well again we got a pretty strong team and #2 or #3 is very realistic imo, #2 if we get lucky with brackets and china plays AU on the other side haha. #1 well thats chinas spot for sure, up to AU to stop them

2 Slots - Selection tournament
An open tournament to determine who gets the final two slots will be held on 17/07/2011 at 17:00hrs SGT which will be exactly 1 week before the team lineup submission for the Nation Wars.

Deadline for signing up for the tournament is 16/07/2011 at 23:59hrs SGT. Brackets will be released right after the deadline.

Participants are required to check in 15 minutes before the tournament (16:45hrs SGT).
A grace period of another 15 minutes after tournament time is given to each participant who failed to check on time (17:15hrs SGT). So if the participant fails to show up after 17:15hrs SGT, he will be disqualified.

This tournament is open to every Singaporean citizen or resident for more than 5 years who are in masters league and above.

Both finalists of the tournament will be eligible to be part of the team.

The tournament will be dual elimination, Bo3 up to Semifinals (Upper and lower brackets) and Bo5 for Finals (Upper and lower brackets).

Bo5 for Grand finals and 3rd/4th placing matches will only be played if players agree to since it does not really matter as the winners of upper and lower brackets are already qualified for selection.

In the case where any of the finalists reject their spot, a wild card match for 3rd/4th placing will be played to determine the person to replace the finalist who reject the spot. It will also be Bo5.

Rules:
Maps played will be determined by veto. The first person to veto for each match will be determined by coin flip.
For Bo3, both players veto one map each turn until 5 maps are left. 6 maps vetoed in total (3 per person).
For Bo5, both players veto one map each turn until 7 maps are left. 4 maps vetoes in total (2 per person).
The person who won the earlier coin flip picks the first map to be played out of the remaining maps.
Loser pick map from then on.
