Then compete as a competitor you know it's about passion. This scene is far too small to provide the shiny things but the community offers a place to be connected with other people who enjoy the game and love the idea of trying to beat other people in a more structured environment than ladder. It's these sorts of things that will make you want to get better or you'll find your place and still feel involved. Personally I like the Idea of getting tangible objects but it in online community run events it's an extra that's not commonplace in any gaming community. There are LAN events that have this kind of stuff and it's cool idk how many events in your area or mine do but there are instances of this in various communities.

bro, i said this earlier. i'm looking to make friends and connect with people, too. i just want a momento of competing and maybe winning a tournament on here.
I feel OP, I would like a certificate for the first time I masturbated. I knew I wasn't going to be a professional rocket polisher (oh how wrong was I), but looking back now I sure don't mind having a certificate showing I competed and trained in the arts of masturbation.
Ok in all seriousness, give the OP a break, he is probably just a sentimental person that likes to keep a memento of things he has done. It is just unfortunate that currently the online gaming community doesn't care so much for this stuff, as well as the difficulty of logistics. That said, if physical trophies/achievements for minor events becomes a norm in the future, it would hardly be a bad thing. Thank you OP, you have definitely enlightened us on the possibility to be more sentimental with our eSports.
As of right now though, no you won't be getting any certificates unless you win a major tournament. This is just the state of eSports as it is right now, sorry to disappoint you. Otherwise I would sure love to have a peice of paper on my wall that says "Bachelor of Forcefield".
