and your comments on his joining Dyns post was just horrific and made him look even worse
Im hyping a new signing. We need hype everyone knows we arnt in the best position players wise. And yes sometimes i word things wrong never the less we have faith that Dragonite will provide results. Mind you we had faith in you too
I played Dragonite twice ( i think ) over the ACL syd weekend. At no point did i find that he conducted himself in a rude/bad way. He seemed like a pleasant fellow, though i do agree he did seem to be a bit optimistic about who he could beat and was worried about. That's fine though, he's learning our scene. when i first got back to New Zealand after living in the US i knew nothing and rolled up to a LAN thinking everyone was bad. Literally got shrekt 2-0 in my first match.
TLDR my opinion is that Dragonite is a friendly dude who is new to our scene, lets be friendly

lmfao you two dont seem to realise that im not calling Ice arrogant, i was using Frustrations statement as a reference to call Dragonite arrogant if this was what he was really like and said. It was also a response to Wallys statement of where he compared listing people youve beaten on ladder to listing tournaments youve done well in, saying it isnt arrogant when it is a sign of it.
Quote: and also said he could easily beat Kingkong and many other good players and was very cocky for no reason at all, since it was his first lan you would expect him to be more polite and understanding that he should not do well.

ah well good stuff Jamie it's another number to the team that wasn't there previously so really it's just a plus more then anything.
good luck to you dragonite and enjoy your time with the dyn boys.
Both sides have legitimate points, there are no bad guys here.
Welcome to the scene, hope over the next few weeks you find out more and learn about your standing in the scene. My prediction is you'll be a fair whack surprised to find out you're not even a Top 3 Protoss in SEA...unless you are, but I don't think you are. Let's find out, very exciting!

I'm going to try to be as offensive as possible. Well, just annoying really.
(BAHAHAHA "FULLMETAL" AND "PRO" WITHIN THE SAME BREATH. Omg.)
This thread is great, Wally is right over Rival...you are SUPPOSED TO HYPE UP YOUR PLAYER ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE RELATIVELY NEW TO THE SCENE.
But rofl at his ostensible expectations at Sydney.
EDIT: @Rival - Ice is the only one who hypes him up by listing players wins etc., then Dragonite clears up an inconsistency pointed out by rize, which could not in any world be considered bragging...I do agree with you in practice, but Dragonite did not hype himself up in the way you appear to be claiming.
Hey dragonite mate, welcome to the scene I hope you do well, SEA scene can do with more Protoss. I hope you sign up for some more of the weekly comps so we can see what you can do...
You seem confident in yourself, while that can be taken as arrogant, it's a good mentality for someone wanting to do well in competitive gaming. Just don't underestimate your opposition and train hard.
thanks guys the following posts making me feel really welcome. awesome to be part of a team in the aussie scene. this is something ive been looking forward to for a long time
