Ok guys - here's the deal, apparently we can book a team if we have 5 or more people. I'm going with a mate who sucks at sc2, but we're happy to sit together with other sc2sea people.
If you'd like to sit together then please confirm here. I'm not making any promises as my mate was talking to the admins, but at least we know what people want and we can go from there.
Should we be booking our ticket beforehand for this?
I propose that we have a relay race!! (just like the MLG ones)
We can form teams of 4 with no limit to how many teams there are and put bets on. Maybe a captain for each relay team and they take turns picking players to be in their team! etcetc
LOL @ riichard, I think there are slightly bigger issues at hand.
Thanks for the seating chart.
so from what I can tell.. ppl are asshole and picked to try be away from other teams, rather than taking the other side of 10.. so the max we can get together is 10.. i think just book a seat and post it here, i'll put it in the OP so ppl know where some ppl will be.. I dont really know what most of you look like, other than the pros/casters.. ur all a bit anonymous IRL - so I think this will ease us first timers into the process.. I suggest we book in the most open place right now.. which is block R - only 3/20 spaces are taken in there.. and then we can take over L, M, etc as needed. GOGO BOOK NOW! it's 50 bucks on the site! mention sc2sea.com in ur booking (i havent booked yet, but this shld be possible) so that they can update the seating chart...
SORRY FOR BLOCK OF TEXT - MY ENTER BUTTON IS BROKEN
I'm pretty sure you don't have to choose a seat until you get there. I vote for the first sc2sea person to get there to grab a big section of tables and make it ours.

Oh wow, nice. I just bought mine, got to get my friends onto it now then! Thanks for the heads up.
If we don't have a "Team" booked in, Is there still a way to ensure that latecomers could sit with a group and not be over the other side of the room?

If you want to book now in a team I believe you need to pay no. Saying you'll attend means that you'll run the risk of not getting a seat if they sell out before hand. There is no way to reserve without paying first.
Sorry just trying to follow that diagram, can we see the stage or are we on the side? lol. Thanks for making the effort for us though.
Can you advise the best way to pass on our details to you to confirm booking in this sc2sea area?
Sorry, dident have the .png or fireworks handy to make a proper change :P
I will see about trying to get you guys actually seated in front of the stage, but if I cant, then there will be some seats in front of the stage, a TV, and a projector at least. Also thanks to Karma, got two decent comps for the stage (not bad for 3 hours notice :P).
Best way to grab a seat there will be to either email chailes@sgl.org.au or rock up on the day and say your from SC2SEA
Thanks for your responses, just so you don't think I was complaining I just wasn't sure what the arrows meant, and I was trying to find if we were on the side or in the front or both
Thanks for your help and making such an effort for sc2sea.
Just 1 more question before I change the OP to include all this info.. can we just book a ticket, and then pay on the day?
Technically you can, and in the past we had 70% prepay, 30% pay on day, but I really wouldent recommend it. We just opened up about 30 or so seats, but I am betting its either going to be sold out by the event for PrePays, or sold in 5 minutes when the doors open
