Haha who cares if the camera is shakey. Its kinda like your at the event with the boys if u didnt go, it was cool.

In all seriousness though, I did enjoy the movie.
It should be labelled more as a team blog/experience as I feel that's what it was.
Very casual and very laid back/relaxed rather then a professional edited movie.

From a spectator point of view, I thought the logo's were a little too large though.

Man, playing xbox with all of the boys seemed so much fun it was worth the trip alone T_T I could have gone but the date kind of snuck up on me.

I have an extremely solid tripod that would help with this if you want me to drag it along to future events for you to use.

Wish i had of competed in the open bracket even though I would of been destroyed would of been fun all the same! Next time I'll try and get the courage to talk to some of the guys instead of awkwardly standing there hahaha

(also i kinda agree with dox tho, the twitter followers for the extra parts is kinda cheesey. perhaps do that for something exclusive to xGKing instead)

Okay, now that I'm finally back home in Melbourne, I feel the need to elaborate on my previous post. What I meant is this:

I'm all for people making video blogs of the event! That's awesome. I personally didn't find this one enjoyable, but that's just me.

I don't appreciate people using our event as an exercise in self-promotion though. Okay, I can let the CH/Kingston logos slide 'cos it's your production/Youtube channel and all that. But when you post the video on the front page news of a large community site and demand that people follow you on twitter if they want to see more... it's just kind of tragic, y'know? I mean - you already have your twitter in your signature. You could have simply added a "For more videos, check out my Twitter/YouTube/Facebook" at the end of the movie and it would have been totally respectable.

As far as editing goes, a bit of cropping and planning would definitely go a long way. (I loved the road trip video!) It literally feels like you've just dragged a bunch of footage into Windows Movie Maker and exported a render. I mean, there were literally gaps of green screen between some scenes! Review your footage, plan what you intend to do with it, and pick out the good stuff. You can turn 12 hours of mediocre footage into 10 minutes of good quality video with the right amount of patience and production - and people will appreciate it a lot more. I mean, there was literally a scene of you attempting to zoom in on the commentators and talking about how your hands were too shaky. There is no value in stuff like that!

I truly do look forward to seeing part 2, and I hope it follows in the footsteps of inFeZa's humble video.

I suspect you plan on using the additional videos to grow your YouTube/FaceBook/Twitter/Stream subscribers. All I can ask is that you please do this for the community, not your own personal gain. If people like the content you have to offer, they'll naturally subscribe. Don't force yourself upon the community.

I don't see how you can be so judgmental of my asking for a couple of followers for my teams page when you asked everyone to like your facebook page (facebook.com/doxsc2) claiming it will be 'Providing detailed information regarding all StarCraft 2 events in the South East Asia region!'* then only linking events that YOU are hosting. No City Hunter events? no SEACL? no SGL?

Nice video Benji, i liked it.

Seeing EveSigns + Chadmann have a chat after their series, Rossi + Iaguz watching System play, those sort of things that show what Tournaments/Lan events are bout to me. Good stuff.

All the guys playing COD was a bit of fun too.

Thanks for showing us content we couldn't see via the stream.
