The Razer Deathadder was by far the most comfortable and responsive mouse I've used. Have tried a whole bunch including: Razer Abyssus and Lachesis and Logitech mx518 and g9x. The Deathadder was definately the best. Is all personal preference though.

Diamondback was like the best mouse I had. But settled for a Steelseries kinzu now, hangs on pretty well to my abuse and i can grip it comfortably.
As said many times, comfort is the most important thing, specs are usually standard across the board so you just have to know that you will be comfortable holding your mouse for long periods of time.

You need to decide whether you like a big or small mouse. And yes its a difference.
I went from the Tt Azurues which was a very basic but effective mouse - was a larger sized one.

Ive changed to the (smaller) Razer Abyssus and feel I probably now have much better control. Ive decided this simply from my zvz ling/baneling micro improvements. But my wrist is also now developing CTS :P. Might go back to the Azurues and see if there is a real correlation or not lol - maybe just improved over time

small mice usually use claw grip and claw grip is best for micro and twitch movement but you'll fatigue a little faster
