Congratulations to MvL who now has back to back tournament victories, winning the December 10th tournament after his Grand Final opponent Jason was disqualified for being a smurf. MvL showed his range of builds again this week fairly easily dispatching all his opponents on the way to the finals with a combination of his hidden tactics roach play and some nice macro games.

The December 17th tournament has been created and is ready for signups - here. After this week, there will be a break for the holidays and we'll be back on January 14th.

Hey dude, great work. Just a quick suggestion with the rules though, what happens to a player who gets promoted from gold to plat between signup and match night?

That would be pretty unlucky timing for them =P
They'd probably not be able to play since I'd have no way of seeing that they were actually gold when they signed up.

Last night's BSG saw some excellent finals matches culminating in an inventive four game grand final set seeing Astro take the win over Bubbles with strong ZvP play.
Congratulations Astro!
The BSG will return in January for season 5.

Just as a note, you can use SC2Ranks to ascertain at what point someone was promoted.
