ESLSEA has decided that for the forseeable future, Go4SC2 events will not be held on thursday nights. Go4SC2 Sunday's will still be on however, and we encourage anyone and everyone to sign up for the $75 event every week.
August and September's monthly finals will be seeded including the Thursday and Sunday cup points, however October's monthly finals will be seeded only including Sunday cup points.
Hi, I would like to follow up on the 75USD Enderr won in last Sunday's SEA Go4SC2 Cup #39. I'm worried that the admin (EveFrancis) on that day might have overlooked it. Thanks
i havnt been able to sign up for it the last few times ive tried after now trying to do this event weekly as i see it as the best way for myself and other people to get recognised in the sea community has something happened to it or is my laptop a hater?
@Zendex; I'm sure sixcube has EnDerr's skype details, so i will notify him of the oversight and we'll get right on it.
@YJY: Sorry man, sometimes the money takes a while to go through. Unfortunately the process takes a while, and sometimes mistakes can happen. I'll double check that we're moving on it for you. Apologies again.
@Stallion: http://www.esl-asia.net/sea#/sea/sc2.../cup40/signup/ try that link, that is a direct link to the signup. I would have posted it tomorrow anyway, but i'll just try posting the link with no bbcode and we'll see if that helps you at all.
As for the size of the ESLSEA entrants, yes we do get a lot less, but the community in SEA is a lot smaller than our NA and EU counterparts. Also, they have been running for a long, long time and have managed to work out all the kinks and have everything running smoothly. We've only been up for 6 months ish now, and there is still a lot of development to go.
(also, just a small note, EU and NA has a big staff, whereas SEA runs almost entirely off of volunteers)
Can we make the October Monthly Finals to be held AFTER the IPL4 Pacific Qualifiers? That huge event will be held on Nov 7-8. Potential finalists, TargA Rossi and Jabito is going to participate in the said IPL4 event.
Soulman is querying as to when he will get paid his winnings for the ESL finals, or if there are any outstanding payments left from any sunday cups (if they still paid), he may wonder about them too.
Just letting you know he doesn't know what's going on, and would like to buy McDonalds for a month.
Hi guys, starting with Cam's note there, I've spoken to 'Xp, who says the money will be getting transferred this week.
That includes all winnings from the August Finals, as well as from all cup's won during the month of August. You will receive all of your money soulman.
On to Zendex's question, we haven't calculated the totals yet, because we're concentrating on doing the September finals first. However the October finals will probably be in a couple of weeks. We will obviously not schedule it on a night where there is another major event, as it is a qualified tournament, and for some of the players to not be able to make it would be a big loss. I would expect sometime during the week that begins on the 14th of November. September finals will be this week. Keep an eye out for announcements.
I'd just like to explain something that should clarify any money issues people are having with any past ESLSEA Go4SC2 Cups or finals.
The money all gets transferred at once. This means that if you have won a cup during the month, you have to wait until after the monthly finals.
Unfortunately due to delays recently with the cups, the finals haven't been going ahead, and therefore the moneys from the Go4SC2 cups have been in 'stasis', waiting for the finals. We are now getting on top of the monthly finals situation, and thus everyone will get paid their winnings soon!
We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience or concern that this may have caused. Don't worry, the money is there!
Regards,
ESL Admin Team
