Funny thing about the game and most NA diamond players is their APM is surprisingly high but they would allow their macro to slip so much. Seriously, during the marine bunker harrass, how can someone allow the banked minerals to jump up to 700 when working at 150 apm ave? Spam much? A bunker rush like that can be easily pulled off with 90 apm (ave) max and your macro still wouldn't drop as much, You'd still have a CC being built in your base and 3 extra raxes ready by the time the zerg gets rid of the bunker.
Then there is the attack with the maruder helion ball which didn't require that much micro (he was still operating at around 140 average apm) and yet his banked minerals jumped to 1.1k??!!!!!!! Still no expo until half his units were gone before he finally landed an in-base cc... -.-
I've come across quite a few diamonds there with SEA diamond level apm but SEA bronze level's strat.....
This is why i stick to my philisophy of never respecting a Terran.
As I told my opponent who raged at me last night... going all-out trying to get a bunker rush down on the zerg nat is a play I generally reserve for those Z's who like to start the game by telling me how OP T is and that they are better just because they play Z.

It's more like when they start complaining about Terran OP. I start hearing "I cant hold off a bunker rush as Zerg. Please do that to me so that I can learn from it. Thank you very much". :P
Those silent Zergs that gl hf when they see a ZvT matchup are more scary.

Yeah tbh I never realised how bad NA players were till i started getting involved a little with teh community over there and was like woah there are SO many geeks who sound just like they're from bad Hollywood teen movies. It's like listening to DjWheat minus the fact that he actually knows what hes talking about. I also I got sick at first of all my training partners over there because they seem obsessed with being the one that KNOWS everything about the game and so rarely will admit they're wrong.
Then I got past low masters and the people actually were legitimately intelligent and while there's still some douches usually they have the skills and knowledge to back it up :P
Aean, I find some good ones but a lot are high apm with sloppy macro. On ladder and even in custom obs games. Add the NA BM and you have the typical NA players. LOL!!!!!!!!!
Well, surprisingly, huskies is still in diamond but his gameplay is definitely better than just diamond. His macro doesn't slip as much but he just does not ladder enough.
i believe its strongly a culture thing rather than a Server thing. Asians are just less opinionated and less likely to express their feelings whereas westerners aren't. like even in high school in small classes of 30 in Asia if you ever put up your hand and ask questions to the teacher the other students look at u funny and think ure wasting time or a weirdo, its just not the norm to do. whereas when i was in UQ in Australia asking lecturers in a 200 person filled hall was encouraged and expected and it was imo a much better learning environment.
expression can be a good thing like on sc2sea the vast majority of the posters/organisers/donators and generally the people who make things happen are Australians but it can also be a bad thing like on the NA server where if the Americans are not happy they make sure you know about it. the only azn on sc2sea that i felt bothered enough to express his opinion was ArtofChua and it was terrible, although funny haha!
so yea SEA being half azn half Caucasian will naturally have alot less BM or "expression of opinion" then a server 100% caucasian. pretty sure alot of azns rage, they just dont express it because of culture lol
I see nirvAnA. I never really thought about it in a cultural aspect but I guess you're right. The way people have been brought up greatly affects how they act in any situation.
We asians turn around and bash up our brothers after losing an SC2 game rather than waste time BMing some dude who is most prob thousands of kilometres away from where we live. hehe!
