A way around this is to create a new battle.net account through us.battle.net and then just apply the code you get sent.
I would recommend you to get the SEA version if its your very first time playing starcraft 2 so u can read and understand the units and how to play the game. Unless u can read traditional Chinese which is what the Taiwan server uses. Singaporeans use simplified Chinese which is written quite different!
Just bought the full game after playing a few hours using the guest pass. I received the PM about 5 minutes after I paid for it.
I was impressed by how fast did the PM came. Keep up the good work nirvana!
For those of you who are still considering about purchasing this, do it now. 64USD was worth it and playing in another server is a good experience imo.
I just wrote back to the person who sent me my code however I have had some very bad luck I was given a bad code ><. I get this error on the blizzard website "An error has occurred.
The game key you entered has already been claimed.
Each game key can only be redeemed once. If you’re sure you have not previously claimed this key, please double-check the spelling and enter it now.

Hey WPWP.Fitz, I apologize, it was my mistake, I copied the code wrongly so there were two of you who got the same code and hence "it was already claimed". (First time i made this mistake!)
Sorry for the trouble. I have sent you your new code. Please confirm if you have received it and if its working.
Thanks!

Before you decide to buy an account make sure to test your ping. If you're gonna lag hard on Korea, it simply won't be worth it to get an account. Although this is unlikely it is better to be safe than sorry! In most cases theres nothing to worry about because this isnt the era of 56kbps modems anymore and most of us have high speed internet! To begin, Click on Start (Windows Button) then type in CMD in the run box
It doesn't matter which directory you are in, just type in "tracert sea.battle.net" to find out your current ping to the SEA server. To make comparisons with the Korean and NA servers type "tracert kr.logon.battle.net" and "tracert us.battle.net" respectively. The simple way of interpreting tracert results is to look at the last few hops and compare them to the other servers. Generally anything under 250ms is playable but it also depends on your tolerance to lag. As a guideline you would want a relatively similar ping values from SEA/KR (so latency is similar as well) and to not exceed 300ms. But hey if you built up your lag tolerance and are used to playing at 300ms on SEA and get a similar result on KR it just means that you will be playing with the same level of latency there.
My case is slightly different because the SEA server is located in Singapore so all Singaporeans get about 12ms which is similar to LAN latency haha My ping to Korea is very acceptable at about 220ms. My ping to NA (not shown) is about 210ms so there is very little difference for me in playing on NA and KR, and both KR and NA latencies are definitely playable as they are quite far under 300ms. A cute story to share is nGenMaFia laddered on SEA with a 350ms latency for the whole of last year. This is why his LAN tournament results (where uses a better ISP) are so much better than his online tournament results! Lag is an important factor for any competitive game
It amazes me at how many people don't read at all...
Haha with the persistant reminder from NirvAnA I am here to talk about my experience. I bought through PayPal and I received my code in my email around 12 or so hours later. I then proceeded to try to add the code in Battle.Net. However, the code was apparently activated so I PMed him and he quickly maybe 6 to 12 hours I do not know exactly gave me a new code and now it works.
The community is great here and they will get you a copy of a taiwainese verson to play on the korean server!
I bought the game refreshed the page and bang , my key was there.
Btw just in case any of you guys play from Europe like me, you can add the TW/KR key at the EU Webpage too!
This guide was incredibly helpful. I think it is important to note though, that your original StarCraft II Disc CANNOT be in the drive when you install the TW client as it stalls the install at 1%. Otherwise, this guide, and the sale of the client on sc2sea.com is incredible and well executed. It is definitely worth the buy!
