I can't believe I'm writing this thread T_T. It is with a very heavy heart that after leading crux for over a year that crux is to disband at the end of the seacl season 2.
The reason for the Disbandment is simply I have a lot of things in the future in real life to do with my studys with moving to Australia (from New Zealand) which means I simply can't lead a clan any more. This is mainly due to time restriction. For anyone that watches my stream and as my clan mates have noticed I havn't even played much last few weeks because of my course. Also no one within the clan felt they could take over the clan well enough that they think crux would slowly die. This is also because at the old age of 21 and im old as far crux goes. As a clan we have all decided all good things must come to an end and we are going to make a clean break. The crux family shall have each other for practice. Come the end of seacl t2 crux shall offically disband.
On a personal note I'd like to thank everyone for there time in crux for everything you have done for crux or even to other clan leaders as I'm sure we have been annoying in setting things up at points :P as we all are. I have enjoyed my time leading crux and if your every near me come harass me for a beer(or a coke in you younguns case) and we can reminisce over some of the fun times.
and hope everyone who was in crux has a bright and happy future
love Stallion T_T
Terrible to see one of the friendliest, most mannered clans in sea fall by the wayside. Im really going to miss crux, even if you guys are all still around...

It was an absolute blast being on the team. A bunch of genuine guys hanging out, practicing starcraft and all in all having a great time. I can safely say that crux has improved me so much as a player, I've gone from mid gm at best to high gm at best in the last few months. Granted I was one of the newer recruits, during my time on crux I've learnt so much and helped other people grow as players and hopefully as people too. Whether it be threw the constant lovehearts thrown out between eachother, or the group happiness as Eldrid, stallion, delete or myself would be performing well in a tournament, everyone was incredibly tight-knit.
Personally crux was one of the best things that happened to me in sc2 and I really hope that everyone else can say the same. However though all good things eventually have to come to an end and unfortunately, that time is now for crux. Stallion covered everything above and sadly despite how much we didn't want it to happen, crux as a clan can no longer continue. Born out of stallion's heart crux has become one of the biggest clans in the sea scene and in the past few weeks stallion has slowly been overwhelmed with work, magaement and still keeping up with playing competitively. After trying to spread the work around but having few reliefs, he eventually had to make the decision to step down as leader of crux. This event has lead to this and now we have to say goodbye.
Zoom: You're such a talent, always helping me with my zvt and being an all around hell of a guy. Vhor: You worked REALLY hard and although you havent been playing as much lately you improved so much in so little time it was really amazing to watch. Eldrid: you're an amazing guy, lightening my day up whenever we talked with your ridiculous antics and brilliant play. You helped me so much to understand every matchup and you're an amazing guy, thanks so much UncleTom: We didn't talk too much but you always made me laugh, it was actually hilarious to be with you and your zerg play made me really think about what is possible with the zerg race. BsK: You are a real champ man, had a real passion for crux and to improve. you worked really hard when you could and despite your occasional period of frustration at the game you were a thrill to hang out with. Spoon: You're a baller, incredible terran play similar to BsK in so many ways I always enjoyed practicing with you. Beast: Whenever you were on Sea I always tried to help you out and I feel it really helped you, I hope you enjoy the KR server and keep improving. Teslaz: I dont know where you went recently but when i first joined it was great fun to play and watch games with you . Fate: You were such an inspiration for me, helped stallion so much and helped crux out so much, thank you . Maynarde: Your casting is amazing man, some of the best on SEA unfortunately we didnt get to play but whenever i talked with you, you made a lasting impression of an awesome guy. xTc: You're a player with such great potential its astounding, I havent seen you as much recently but when I see you play its amazing how good your going to become. Shoodyo: I have so much respect for you man, one of the only B-teamers who really came through when it came to practice, like xTc you have so much potential and are also one of the nicest guys I've met, love ya. Cabracan: You're stretegies were amazing and although I haven't really been able to play with you that much when I did it was always great fun, thank you! System: Despite the fact you've left I feel obliged to write this anyway, you're a brilliant caster, in my opinion one of the best on SEA. Stick with it man you're going to become so big in the future. Brynsy: I haven't talked to you too much but in the last few days when i have, you seemed like a brilliant guy, much love. Boss: Despite you being in the UK if you read this know that our games changed the way I thought about the game and are probably one of the biggest reason I am the player I am today, thanks so much . Yellowsnow: I know you left but you were really the heart and soul of the team, between your constant late night rage about the balance of marines and roaches and their respective races kept so much personality in the team. We had our dissagreements but you were a great friend and an excellent player. Have fun on NA. Stallion: Words cannot describe how awesome you are man, you helped me out so much and were incredibly friendly at all times, thanks so much. Delete: you're awesome man one of the scariest up and coming stars in the scene and i honestly think you're likely to become the best protoss on SEA in the near future. Myth: Your constant annoyance at IdrA and other players who couldn't take a loss was highly entertaining for me and your unorthodox strategies were a pleasure to behold. Doc: You really came into your own recently playiny some beautiful games of starcraft 2 and keeping me incredibly entertained with you're trolling honestly only second to UncleTom (No one can beat him though) Thank you so much .
I think that's everyone, thanks so much for the experience guys. As our games always began: gl hf

Even though I joined not much longer than a week or so ago, I had an amazing time.
All the people are fantastic players, and just hanging out with them is even better - It was my 1st real experience in a clan for SC2 (I had been in a clan / team for previous games I played) but these guys really are something special.
As a player alone, I have improved ten-fold, and even as a caster, they still root for me and give me feedback and support!
Like I said, even though I have only been in there for a week or so, I felt like I had known everyone for a lifetime.
It really is sad for something like this to happen, but in the long run, everything happens for a reason, and I hope that the light at the end of the tunnel for everyone, is something really amazing.

Big shoutout to all the members of crux who I have played with, trained with and grown with over the past year or so...
To cruxStallion, for scouting me when I was still in Diamond, for believing in me and that I have the potential to improve, for constantly bugging me and competing with me in terms of ladder ranking.
To cruxEZdrid, for being such a manner zerg, for trolling around with us and even changing your name to reflect the ending of our trolling.
To cruxNXZ, again manner zerg. Still remember the time when all of us were cheering on you against TtPiG in the last master's cup, and laughing at your 1 base infestor play that somehow worked. Thanks for the practice games, and hope I get to play more with you in the future!
To cruxKiSs or ZOOM! Such a talented kid, only 15 years old but already GM and with alot more potential to improve. For flipping tables with the clan, for helping us with the Clan League.
To cruxVhorR, for helping me with my weakest link, Pv T. For constantly bugging me for games, for being such a beast in ladder and in games.
cruxSpoon, enough with the "Toss OP" =) Play hard, train hard. You are good, you know it and we know it. All you need is belief in yourself, cos we believe in you.
cruxFate, though you were not online much towards the end, but you were still around to talk to, and even tried your best to show up for the SEACL matches in spite of your busy schedule.
cruxBsK. You were one of the earlier members as well, but despite all that I have not managed to play much games with you. Even then, you were still around in the chat channel for me to talk to, for us to theory-craft with and just being such a nice guy.
Maynarde. Being such a beast of a caster. Though being a caster took you away from our clan for such a long time, but kudos to you and your achievements. ACL isn't a small thing, hope you really shine in your casting and I will definitely be listening in to your casts in the future.
YellowSno, thanks for all your fun comments about "terran OP" and "quitting sc2 and re-installing it 3 days later". Thanks for being on NA almost all the time so I know that there will always be someone on crux Channel on NA. For being such a beast of a toss that I learn SO MUCH from.
Myth. Boss toss that showed me 2 gate FE against a zerg. Boss toss that showed me pheonix play in P v P. Boss toss in general. Sad to say, we couldn't really play much together but I really appreciate your time and just general advice.
To Teslaz, Beast, xTc, Shoodyo and Cabracan. I am sorry that I didn't really talk to you all much and now that crux is ending, it fills me with even more regret. I will be sure to talk to you guys in the future if you guys still continue to hang around channel crux, as I will.
To my clan-mates, though we may go our separate ways in the future, join different clans, teams or even stop playing altogether, I hope that we will all remember that we were once part of crux, a glorious and wonderful clan and I hope that even in the future, we will neither forget nor give up on the principles that starcraft II, and clan crux has taught us.
cruxDoc, signing out.

Did yellosnow really uninstall sc2 and reinstall it 3days later? lol
I realize now how many awesome people I had the occasion to know in this clan, Stallion, Maynarde, delete, ZooM, Eldrid, spoon, System, Brynsy for just those I know a bit. Well sad for crux but those guys will stay here.
Thank you stallion for letting me join in your team. Even though I didn't contribute too much towards the team I had a lot of fun learning sc2 from everyone in the clan.
I hope all our top crux players will grow to become full fledged professional sponsored players in the near future.
I had seriously hoped crux would grow into a team like Korea BW's [gm], red, [shield] etc,
these are great korean clans that have a steady reputation of grooming players into progamers and their reputation still stands today, more than a decade after BroodWar started.
I know clans like alt and ngen have a good reputation of grooming pro players in the SEA server, but I had hoped Crux would join their ranks and even overtake them on that regard within 1 to 2 years. But alas my dream would probably end now, unless someone else takes up the leadership of Crux.
I will still always hang out in the crux chat channel and I have a bet with cruxZoom that if he makes it to Korea WCG representing the country of Singapore, I will sponsor him a brand new mechanical keyboard of his choice
Will still always root for crux players !! Always enjoy the game and have fun guys!

Wish I spent more time playing over the holidays now, I was unable to play sc all of last year and when I got back home I was busy playing all the other games that came out over that year (dark souls, Deus Ex, Bastion etc.). Past few weeks have been incredibly busy, sorry I couldn't make it to more of the Seacl games, especailly after I spent so long telling stallion "If you added me to the team I could be playing right now, Opps now that you've added me I'm heading to dunedin, guts". I didn't get a chance to play a lot of the guys from this awesome team (which is a lie, if I spent less time lurking on this website I would have had plenty of time) but big thanks to NXZ, Myth and Spoon who have been helping me out lots with this NZ cup and the last one. I wish I screen captured that facebook post after our games on Shakuras Spoon, I'm sure you remember which one. Finally everyone in Australia should watch out, Soon Stallion will cross the narrow sea and he comes to mount the world.
Just as a side note guys we will still be continuing on until the end of SEACL. Hopefully we'll be able to make a lasting impression with our performance!! On another related note, all the guys here i can safely say are actually amazing people, I honestly can't say I didn't like any of them as they are all brilliant people. So if you think you might be interested in picking any of them up whether they be on the A or B team, please do. They're all excellent guys!
Thanks so much for having me on board Stallion You're one of the most mannered and genuine SC2 players I've met, you deserve a shot at the big leagues and I hope you do well. Hats off to you mate, you ran a great clan.
Much love to all the crux guys, a lot of them are young but incredibly gifted. I'm sure they'll be going on to kick ass and take names.
Thank you Stallion for Crux, your attitude and your helpful nature. Much love guys.
But crux is one of the powerhouses in SEA... nooo.... Why can't you pass leadership onto someone else in clan though. Baka almost abandoned us to die but we lived through it.
For my bit, i'd like to thank Tom (Stal) for organisign crux from the beginning. I was one of the first members to join and it has been a blast since then.
I have had the opportunity to meeting great players and people i can now call "friends" and i do not use that word lightly. I now know alot of my fellow team mates quite well and for that i thank you all.
I know that Stal and Del will do well in ALT and the other A team members will easily find a good team! Grab them fast for they really do represent a caln really well.
I have had the pleasure of representing Crux in many tournaments and i hope i have made them proud equally.
Although the clan is disbanding I know that i will without a doubt keep in touch with many of you. I hope our friendships survives this disbanding and i am confident that with at least some of you i know it will!

PS. thank god i still got a name change!!
i was so confused when i first read this, "I know that Stal and Del will do well in ALT" I'm like Del is on TA Myth what on Earth are you talking about? He wasn't on crux either doesn't seem related at all... THEN I realized that you meant delete and I face palmed a little.
Also after this week's dominating performance in SEACL so far 5-0 against SPR along with stallion looking to take out jazbas in one of his (stallion's) stronger match-ups; crux is looking to go out with a bang, especially so with delete and stallion's excellent new practice partners.

Sad day for all of the crux members....and the community as a whole. You guys will be missed, but I have no doubt you will all continue your successes with other clans and still be a great bunch of people.
