Win some against diamond, lose some against diamond, but make sure you beat players from all the other leagues. If i remember correctly, if you win a ton of games you have to lose some to get promoted or something like that lol
But seriously, if you're in bronze and beating diamond level players and STILL not getting promoted, then there's something wrong. I got from gold to diamond in about 50 games with a win rate of around 50% lol it really shouldn't take that much, although I'm not sure if it has changed.

Also paying someone to get you into diamond, is, IMO, a retarded idea. But hell, if you want to do it, not my problem lol

Well i think it's something like this:
Lets say you're silver league. You've been playing for quite some time and you're getting better. You start getting matched up with gold league players and you win all. Ok. But bnet wants to put you in a league that matches your current skill level. It could put you in gold, but you might be better than that. So it starts matching you up with plat and diamond players, until it finds a class of players that are around your skill level.
If you keep beating all the diamond players bnet throws at you, I guess it'll try to put you in a higher league, which doesn't exist so you don't promote. Or something like that. Search tl.net if you want more info on it, I think there's a thread there that discuss the promotion system quite in depth.

you should keep plugging away at it under your own steam man and here are a couple of reasons
1. its more satisfying when you do it yourself
2. if you've been beating diamonds recently, chances are, you'll get promoted
3. i second what DFM said, just go check out the thread, promotion has criteria, the system wants to see some confirmation or consistency that you're able to beat diamonds regularly and once you do that, they'll promote you
4. the downside is, if you pay for your rank and unfortunately due to luck you lose quite a couple of games, it'll all be for nothing

listen guys, this guy just scammed me, giving all sort of excuse for not paying. even though buying my trust and say that he will pay half first . delays of no end and just changed his password and lied about where he is from. he said he from malaysia, but hes from singapore.

before he even change password he is already looking for another bait to get scammed in sc2sea.com , when i saw this i immediately know something is fishy since he is delaying the payment for god sakes with all sort of excuse. He will start by saying he will pay you half first and then go on to tell you alot of grandmothers story. he sounds convincing and i trusted him, since i didnt think anyone would go this far to get into diamond. So i played for him first, what a worthless scumbag.

here's the thing, unless your glade and can get top 20 on the US on two account and decide the US server is too easy for you, there's no reason to switch to korea because atm you're not even as good as the diamond level US players, i really wouldn't recommend buying a korean account if i were you :\..

I think its awesome that you're so passionate about the game that you're willing to put in so much time for it and i'm just gonna contribute a few of my thoughts.

Like someone previously pointed out, there's no point practicing non stop if you're gonna keep doing the same (wrong) things over and over again.

Secondly, blindly watching replays is not going to help, without a key amount of knowledge and mechanics of the game you're not gonna be able to appreciate the extremely subtle timings that sometimes just makes what the pros do look magical.

Judging from the last 25 games you've played, you're had a super long win streak and now you're winning points are in the ~10 range, which means you're matched with players the computer terms evenly matched. Check out what rank/rating they are to give yourself a rough gauge, you should definitely be hitting diamond soon if you keep going at it. And sometimes it just helps to play one matchup, so find a practice partner and keep trying!

Next is to play a variety of strats, and you should in particular play strats that you aren't good at. Don't shut your mind off to certain strats and just play the whole range of them to be a better player. If you keep playing a strat you're good at, you might get into trouble when the next patch isn't in favour of your race. However if you keep plugging at it and have good basics and mechanics, you'll benefit in the long run, so all the best ,and may we hope to see you up on the top 200 list someday soon!

dude basically the only advantage of getting a korean account would be to be able to play the top dogs on their ladder, like what ice is doing to practice

however, for most of us mortals, practising on our own ladders should be enough until you are literally top of it, like say top 200, then maybe you'll benefit from the added exposure to the korean pros, for all you know, korean mortals are similar to the SEA and NA mortals. so keep plugging at it, once you get to top 200, maybe you can consider

your best bet right now is to find practice partners and keep playing!

i don't think the win/loss ratio matters much. once you regularly play silver players, your promotion to silver is going to come.

I was regulary playing the league above me, seemed like forever i would get a nice win streak, lose a few and so on. then i wnt on a bigger losing streak playing both people above and at my level about 8-10 games then i logged in one day played 1 game and won it, then came my promotion...very weird!

It's possible but quite impractical. It ruins the experience of "climbing the ladder" and the guy will "fall off the ladder" eventually (if he plays) as a diamond if he really isn't diamond level.
