I'm Solis and the unofficial manager and Captain of Team ForeveR (FvR). We are a primarily Brisbane based team which has it's roots within the University of Queensland Starcraft Society. Over the past 2-3 months we have been competing in SEA tournaments both offline and online, as well as playhem dailies and whatever open events we can manage to compete in. You would have seen us compete in BSG/GPD/ACL/Lansmash/Elysium Lan/WCG/BEST.. We are active in our local community and we've finally decided to 'take the plunge' and begin taking the game as a whole more seriously.
SC2SEA forum users will probably know me as 'that guy who started the weightloss blogs' (I am completing the blogs, just not posting until I feel the results are adequate, otherwise it's just droning on). But you'd be suprised at the other team members we have in our roster.
Our roster is:
Phoneheha
Shockwave
CyniX
Phantonfish
Flamyblade
Jun
Crankenstein
WinteR
elimzkE
Solis
GwaiLo
Media
Toik
Screwby
We'll be looking to apply to the SEACL for the next season.
My goal for this team is to raise it up so we can compete with the big boys in the t1 premier league. We have the talent (I've seen it), we just need the time! We'll see you at the top!

Reason: Small changes to roster.
I went inactive for so long after I joined that I didn't know if you guys even considered me part of it, though I still hang out in the ToR channel so I'll try to ask for some games.
Got extra motivation to improve since I feel bad being the only BSG in the team (almost Plat in NA though!)
Well to be honest Stallion, 'clan' doesn't really sound right....'Clan ForeveR' sounds terrible compared to 'Team ForeveR'. If we're still recognized as a 'Clan' then that's fine, but I'll still address us as a Team That's my preference, and the preference that the group of us have when talking about ourselves as a collective whole... besides... who knows, with a line-up as beastly as ours..., we could go pro :P

I haven't checked peoples' profiles in a bit. You and Jake technically aren't Masters on SEA, and Phone isn't GM at the moment, but I wrote this probably 2-3 weeks ago, I just didn't post it until now. :P I won't change it, go earn the symbol I gave you!

Also @venom, you have to earn it man. Now you've put your hand up, we'll be keeping a look out. It took a few months to choose the players we currently have in our roster. We basically look at community activity + a bit of skill + personality + an eagerness to learn. It's invite only, simply to keep member numbers down and make sure our team stays well connected with eachother.
:3 I'm sorry if that sounds mean/rude, but that is the procedure the core members agreed on.

Reason: spelling/grammar
You can apply to join the UQSS and we'll gladly accept you into our ranks! However, Team ForeveR is a little more exclusive though. -.- Man I feel rude saying that, basically we just like to know people before we let them join our team. We look to be very competitive, so whilst the society will definitely suit your needs (a broad range of gamers from a variety of backgrounds), the team may not be what you're looking for at this time.
That said, all of the team posts regularly here and in UQSS, so you needn't worry about not getting to know us :P Also, you don't need to be exclusively from UQ to be in the team :P But being local definitely helps us get to know you! We'll see you at the next big event (looks like ACL Brisbane qualifiers for Sydney!).

Alright.
Thanks for the reply.
I had applied to join UQSS.
Cheers.
No i wasn't joking. I want to improve in the game . If that does mean moving onto a new team. I am definatly not saying that HoH is a bad clan. They are all Awesome guys in there! But for improvement wise, not there. I am after a clan where i can get practice partners to improve at the game. As i have said numerous times in other threads i want to do Starcraft II as a job! i love the game and spend 8-10 hours a day on it.
For things community wise. i post on the forums quite a bit. i Cast the BSG tournament for sc2sea.
I would apply, but only if my name could be.. *lowers sunglasses*
FvRBlondes
AAAAAARRGGGGGGGGGGhhhhh.
That's enough of that. I am really excited to see a brisbane team pop up - i have quietly been trying to get a little more happening in brisbane sc2, but then completely forgot about universities as potential source of people with free time on their hands.
I actually played against GWailo last night in the first round of the GPD - seemed a good guy. I was actually trying to figure out what the NvFG tag was, but it turns out the GW was his name.

Your coaching advice will not be in vain!

sup guys iv also asked to join over at http://www.facebook.com/groups/uqstarcraftsociety/ . would be awesome to get to know a few of you as im starting at uq this semester. im a masters zerg from the sunny coast. 22 yo. gl with the team, maybe it would be possible to join at some stage
are you guys recruiting? i'd like to join in practice sessions if that's okay with you. i'm okay with very long practice sessions and dont really mind losing, learning's more important. do you also have anyone on the KR server?
Cheers Demzy, we'll do our best! We lost 5-2 to ToR on Sunday night, but we'll get better!
I replied to recruitment policies in private AND in this topic. The reason I didn't reply to c-kAlle is because I feel like all of it had been addressed. Our recruitment is based on personality and potential skill, if we don't know you or you've contributed very little to our communities then we're not going to take you on. If you've got potential to be a great player, then we'll take you on as well. We don't have open recruitment and usually approach players individually as we get to know them. You can approach us, and persistence does eventually pay off and get you a trial.. but we like to have a process were we can weed out those who want to join ANY clan, and those who want to join Team Forever.

Will Forever become an in-house sc2sea Team, or do you have other plans re: website etc.
I think that a small team based in a single physical location is great, makes it easy to meet and to go to events. Also it must make it easy to co-ordinate the team - I am really looking forward to see where Forever are heading. To infinity and beyond?

At the moment we closely associate ourselves with UQSS and until we can consider becoming an in-house clan here we have to earn SC2SEA's respect through Online and Offline tournaments as well as through community contributions (content). Currently, there is no plan to launch our own website, but a few of our players have streams and once ACL-Brisbane Qualifiers has passed, you'll be seeing more of us within this community ( hint hint, we've got something coming).
Yes Buzz, too infinity and Beyond.
