Calling all Bronze - Silver players that want the thrill of a Tourdy!
Details:

Date: Friday, 28th of January 2011.
Time: 8PM EST (Melbourne, Australia +10). Fixed World Clock
Location: Battle.net SEA region.

Rules and Regulations:

• Players must be logged into SCII SEA region 5 minutes before their match-up. Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified and their opponent will be given an automatic win.
• Matches will be played as a Bo1, however the finals will be played as a Bo3.
• Spectators will be allowed, however permission must be granted by both players in the current match-up. Zanderax will also be allowed to spectate.
• If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the player who did not disconnect to decide whether the match will be either: A) replayed, or B) forfeited.
• All replays need to be sent to Zanderax@hotmail.com; furthermore any disputes will be handled by myself after reviewing all associated replays.
• Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.

Map List:

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player of each match will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:
Ro16:Jungle Basin
Ro8: Scrap Station
Semi-Finals: Metalopolis.
Finals: Xel'Naga Caverns.

Player brackets will be created and linked in the reserved post below.

Prize-Pool:

The current prize pool will be all the fame and glory that is associated with winning a SC2 tournament.
If frequency gets back to me we may have a prize of him reviewing one of your replays!
I would like for all people from the silver and bronze league to join, participate and most importantly, have a good time!

Because this is not a large Tourny no shows will be frowned upon more so than usual and I will be unhappy.

Fade although you are technically in Bronze. The amount of people telling me you are a portrait farmer and the fact you are in diamond for 2v2 and 3v3 and platinum for 4v4 tells me that you are not Bronze or Silver level. I am not going to let you participate in this tournament.

Yeah you just run your own games. The replays aren't necessary but I would like as many possible and the Finals I need.

I want this to be a tournament for people that have a Bronze or Silver skill level. If his 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 was a low gold then I probaly would let him in but 2 Diamonds and a Platnium is obviously a poser.

You could easily play in the tournament if its so small. If it was big 32-128 man,then you would have your hands full but you may be able with less than 16 people to play and update the brackets.
Btw,just a side note, if the games are best of 1 and the final a best of 3, the tourney would be really, short, maybe if the games are best of 3 with the finals a best of 5 it would be better. Just a thought.
