Welcome to the official announcement of the Singapore Starcraft League Tournament November!!! Sept's SSL was a huge success and I would like to congratulate Jix who walked with 1st prize, who recieved an awesome decaled Starcraft 2 computer casing and a mouse from Icon 7 worth $150!! The games were epic, and even had the final ACE match with EIGHT nukes! I can't wait for Nov's SSL.
Singapore Starcraft League (SSL) November will boast a larger cash prize pool, double the players to qualify and far better quality of players as the game has been out longer and the skill level has grown like monster like proportions! 16 players will battle it out for pride and glory in the Korpulu Sector!!
The top 16 players to register, based on ladder points, will be invited to compete. Registration is super easy. Just leave your character name and character code below in the forum thread and I will update you into the tournament! Concurrently, we will be running a 'for fun' Wildcard tournament on the same day, Nov 27th so everyone can come down to our tournament location, Raygun and have a great time meeting other SC2 fanatics and pro players! To add a meaningful end to the Wildcard, the winner will have a guaranteed spot in the following SSL!! Congratulation to SatinySol for winner Sept's Wildcard and he has a confirmed spot in Nov's SSL!! Looking forward to seeing everyone down at Raygun!!!
Did I mention the SSL is free? No registration fee, no cost for LAN time while in the tournament! And its all thanks to our location sponsors Raygun!! For the wildcard, Raygun is throwing in a special FOUR hour package for just $5. Whether you're there to compete for Dec's SSL slot or just come and have a great time with everyone, its definitely a great deal!! If you register for the SSL, you're automatically registered for the Wildcard!
Let's talk PRIZES! (Total Cash Prizepool: $300). Huge thanks to our sponsors! First, we have thebronzeleagueplayer.blogspot.com!! Edward who runs the tutorial site has tons of build orders, strats and counter strats on his site and took a ton of time to put it together. If you're looking to up your game, definitely give it a look. And our main sponsor is something I can't talk about just yet. Its codenamed "Project Mothership". It's a hush-hush project I've been working on with my crew and hopefully be unveiled at Nov's SSL. You guys are going to love it! That's all I can say for now ^^

So when will we know who's invited? I'm assuming it's still going to be by ladder? Cause in that I need to know how much time I have to play ladder for more points >.>
How in the world did I miss so many people.... >< I must have skipped a site or something. My bad guys. Adding you in. Things are abit crazy cause I'm still travelling in China and updating by stealing some random guy's internet at my friend's condo
Updated again! Hope I didnt miss out anybody. WOW is that a stacked list or what? Still, no one is safe! Keep working on your ladder rankings! =D Thx all and looking forward to seeing you on Nov 27th at the Wildcard and SSL!!
Fixed an obvious typo.. The qualification date end is NOV 22nd, not Oct 22nd... Sorry, I know this was a huge mistake but since the tournament was pushed back to Nov 27th, the qualification date is also pushed back
After discussion with the organizers of SSL, we have come to an agreement that the EPIC Starcraft 2 competition will not be held on the 27th of November at all & thus will not clash with SSL!!!
We have made this arrangement so that the Starcraft 2 community are able to support both events! Lets make November a Fun filled month for Starcraft 2 !
Sign up for EPIC now!
Closing Date for registration is 10th November, last than 1 weeks time!
Sorry guys, I need to pull myself out of this competition, I've too much work and school assignments these few weeks, sorry for the trouble! I wont be touching SC2 for a few months I guess.
All the best all who had participated! May the best man wins!
Hahaha, well, it was going to happen sooner or later. I will be adding all 50+ registered players to my friend's list today. Expect to get PMs from me this week regarding your new names and codes, and also your hp. If you signed up for the Sept SSL, I should have your info already and I have received emails from others.
The hp is simply to let you know tournament details, esp. if you qualified for the SSL, are on backup or invited for the Wildcard. SC2ranks seems to be working again so once I get everyone's name and code done, I will do the rankings again
IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR NAME... please post and let me know so I dont spend the next 2 weeks hunting your ID down =P (poke all you alt. and NGen peepz)
***NAMES WHO I COULD NOT FIND ON BNET*** If you have changed your name, your character code will also change. I need to know the updated character name and code so I can rank you properly on the 22nd Nov cut-off date.
***NAMES WHO I DO NOT HAVE YOUR HANDPHONE*** If you havent' given me your handphone, I need it to do tournament admin and I KNOW people will be calling me like mad on tournament day so it is important I get your number so if you need to call me for directions, tournament brackets and setup, on whether you can pick your nose or any other issues, we can get in touch.

Xeen
If I can catch some of you on Bnet, I'll PM you but otherwise, those above, please update your new name and code. Thanks
Ladder rankings updated as of Nov 19th. Please let me know if I missed out anybody and if I still don't have your handphone, please email it to me at HDPhoenixx@gmail.com
the whole process of laddering is too painful for me with my 15min search times and +2 / -19 points 80% of my matches. I currently have 776 bonus points that i will never be able to finish spending.
anyway im not gonna qualify in time and its too hard for me to so please take me out of the list
GL everyone!
Hey hdphoenix, sorry for informing you so late, but I can't take part due to duty on the 27th of november. So you can give my spot to the next guy in line. A pity I couldn't join this one, hope to participate in the next few months!

Its cool bro. Stuff happens. Hope to see you for Dec's SSL. I have lined up a sponsor for that one already and the prize pool should be over $1,000!
Could you confirm your code is 460? Anyways, its too late for qualifications, sorry. I've already drawn up the brackets as qualifications ended around 5pm when I did the rankings and I could not find you.
This is a monthly LAN tournament so I look forward to seeing you at Dec's SSL. You're a good rank
Most of the information you'll need is on the youtube. I have a flight early tmr and its like 2am but I do want you guys to get this info. Due to lack of time (and the fact I am really REALLY tired, I will just post the brackets and the rest of it, just watch the youtube ^^)

That's it! I did the drawing by using random playing cards. I will update more when I get internetz in Sibu. Cheers =)
you can see from my match history that i last queued 1 v 1 on 21st Nov (this puts me above 2 of the qualifiers), so effectively i reached my rank before the cutoff date, anyway i guess it has to do with me changing my name but yea my character code is 460.

Still can't find "pMAKERznehp" code 460 on the SEA servers. I use SC2 and www.sc2ranks.com. Sorry bro, you'll have to wait for Dec's SSL anyways as I've already announced the brackets
edit: Just occurred to me. Was 460 your code with your old name? Cause when you name change, your code changes too. I had that problem with a few other players. Please recheck your new code is indeed 460. Either that, or I really can't find your profile

Sorry HD, Fade.775 has to withdraw from the tournament due to some unforseen personal matters.
Sorry for the trouble.
Hey HD, not sure if you have missed out my withdrawal post. My nick is still under the Registered Players list. Please help to remove Fade.775 from the list thanks.
Singapore Starcraft League November was a huge success! And it was only possible due to the hardwork of my crew and all the cooperation of all the players. There was so many top-tiered players in one spot, and everyone had a blast getting to know each other. The E-Sport scene in Singapore is getting really bright!
Shoutouts!!
Kira and Tri-Edge for their technical support and their high-end computers!
FieryPort and thebronzeleagueplayer.blogspot.com for sponsoring part of the prize pool! -a live blog for the latest build orders and basic strats-
HGHx and Joshua of Raygun Gaming for sponsoring the location! You guys rock!!
MotherShip Studios for being the MAIN sponsors!!
GG Clan for buying me breakfast - You guys are awesome ^^
I am in the midst of writing the summary of the games and uploading the replays. I am now at EPIC (borrowing Philibert's lappy cause he's awesome too). Looking for replays tomorrow!
I will be flying once again this whole week so I'm afraid VODs will have to wait till Sat (real life job > SC2 sadly...) but I will definitely cast all the interesting matches and we are working on a ton of stuff for the community so stay tune!!!
Here you go everyone! The games were amazing and I hope that by releasing these, people will watch and learn from the mistakes and the great timing plays by all the players. As the player base skillz grow, so will the e-Sports and community =)

Cheers everyone!
hey joseph i think you left out oxygen's ro4 game and the finals as well.. was looking forward to watching those :|
Apologies to everyone who downloaded the last pack. I am aware that the GF and Rof4 games were not included. It must be the lack of sleep for me to make a blunder like that. Anyways, great catch by GGMuse and I've put together the replay pack again and hosted it. This thread will be up till it gets hosted by sc2sea.com.
game 1 delta quadrant he got his first two helions surrounded by slow lings, and then he accidentally lowered his depot letting lings in to kill his marines(which afterwards cost him the game as he didnt have enough aa to kill mutas)
game 2 his proxy rax was scouted, and then his bunker was one millisecond away from completing. then he left a small hole in his wall after the bust.
game 3 oxygen's went 1rax fe and revenant knew just what to do with a very nice timing attack
but revenant's play is really solid as hell and he deserves the championship
