S.I.T. Club from Nanyang Polytechnic, School of I.T. is currently hosting a Starcraft II Tournament and free usage of computers(for Starcraft II)! on its Open House, which is from 5th to 7th January. For more details, refer to the poster or simply drop me your question!
Eligibility
All Singaporeans, or anyone who is able to turn up physically for the event, is eligible to participate!
How to get there?
Registration
Simply leave your Bnet.CharCode here!
E.g. Revenant.345
Alternatively, offline registration starts from Thursday, and ends on Saturday 11am!
Tournament Format
*Best of 3, loser picks next map
*Double Elimination (NOTE: As there has been an update that there's only 18computers, a majority's opinion will be asked tomorrow to see if you guys still want it to be double elim or single elim, as double elim may take up to 5-ish hours)
*64 player limit
Gaming peripherals: You are highly recommended to bring your own mouse, keyboard and headset down!
How to get there:
Nanyang Polytechnic(NYP) is just a five minutes walk away from Yio Chu Kang Station!
(Address: Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8) If you have troubles going, do use http://www.gothere.sg to help navigate your way there!
Venue Edit:
I seek all players' understandings as I've checked this year's venue and it can only sustain 18computers. This means that some players may have to wait. Also, the brackets will be generated one hour before the actual event as that's when the online and offline registration stops.
Hey Rev, I've made a short writeup for you to showcase this event at my website NoGameNoTalk.com, hope this will help fill up your 64-player brackets. Tell me if you spot any errors or anything.
If someone volunteers to, I'm sure NYP wouldn't mind!

Thanks! Great writeup! It's highly recommended for players to bring down their own peripherals though, unless they don't mind school(a.k.a. sub-par) peripherals. ;D

I may not know how to go to the venue T.T
You may want to try using a nifty website called "www.gothere.sg". Just type in this format "[your address] to [Destination address, in this case 'Nanyang Polytechnic']".

oops, what i meant was , i might not know how to go to the venue after I've reached NYP.. Worried that I might be lost in NYP :P
It appears to be 64 max, so my guess is to just go down anyway and ask Revenant and he will help slot you in if theres still space. If there isn't at least you get to watch and make some Singapore SC2 friends!
Hey guys, I've done a quick write-up at No Game No Talk, it ain't much but again, if there's any mistakes/typos, please alert me and I'll amend it right away!
Congrats to JaFF, drakE and ProAnnn for winning, and thanks to NYP for having this event, it was my first SC2 tournament (and my first competitive event since 2008) and I really enjoyed myself. (Revenant, do you do protoss coaching? xD)

Was fun (except for the waiting for faytz part), thanks to their organisers (and rev) for their effort/time.
Yea! Thanks a lot for organising such competition. Such a good experience, though I did not expect myself to get so far in the bracket (also crawling towards 50 post for a name change )
Yeah congratulations to the organizers!
Always fun to go for LAN, even though when you're matched with grandmasters when you're gold .
Next time i'll go through first round
