Thanks to James from TCL for the writeup, he has written this quite well considering english is his second language I only made 1 edit, and it was small.
While the aftertaste of TCL3 is still there, the even more remarkable, more exciting TCL4 is about to come! The opening match for group A will be starting 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, 11/1 (GMT +08:00). We present you StorM, the champion from TCL3 and xGKing from SEA server, reformed from TCL2’s champion nGen!
In TCL3, we have witnessed clan StorM stomp over clan Rush and Nw, officially becoming the king of the Starcraft II amateur leagues in Taiwan. However, our former champion nGen across from the equator has not been just sitting around doing nothing. xGKingBenji called for the creation of a new team, xGking. Formed from renowned teams in SEA server such as nGen and aLt, xGKing has become one of the top teams is Southeast Asia. We have done quite some research, and found out that actually 3 of the top 6 players from Battle.net Invitational on SEA server belong to team xGKing (JazBas (Z), Mafia (Z), and Light (P) respectively). Among them, JazBas, who has just come back from 2011 Blizzcon with mOOnGLaDe, the Australian King of the Zerg, has already advanced to a whole new level compared to his times in TCL2! From the player roster of xGKing, we can see that the three great players, Light (P), JazBas (Z), and Mafia (Z) will hold the ACE matches (5th, 6th, 7th rounds) for xGking. Also, their 4th player, iaguz, is placed second in the SEA ladders, just after Mafia!
Faced with such a ridiculously strong army, what combinations does the home team StorM have?
Ladies and Gentlemen, SEVEN PROTOSS PLAYERS! StorM will face the pressure of the opening match with their 7 signature protoss players, with PayNe holding the first round, Freestyle Prince LoVe holding the second round, third round, wiNs, a professional player-in-training by Gama Bears, and fourth round, Kim, who has outstanding performance in TCL3, also a professional player-in-training by Wayi Spider. Their fifth player being the legendary Little Princess luway, sixth player, Wulong, the Protoss Emperor, and finally, the talented young player for the 7th round, Wizard! As for why didn’t StorM let Wulong hold the 7th round, our editors said that this is due to some new maps for the sixth match, and also, Wizard had to go to a cramming school in the evening. Aside from that, Wizard has been in great conditions. Other than defeating NA masters terran NwKonvict, he even defeated Huk on the ladders recently! His strength is there to see, and everyone has great expectations for him to improve further!
7:00 P.M., 11/1 (GMT +08:00), StorM, with a gorgeous Protoss army, will face one of the strongest team on SEA server, xGKing. At the same time, TCL4, Asia Clan Leagues, will officially start!
