Rules:

1. You have 15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 15 minutes will be disqualified. This 15 minute timeout rule applies in all rounds.

2. You must report your results to an Administrator. You will be unable to move ahead in the tournament until your results have been checked and verified by Administration.

3. Race Choosing is not an option. You must either play Terran, Protoss, Zerg or Random throughout the Tournament.

4. Only Official Administrators, Casters and Streamers will be able to observe in-game.

5. You can stream your own games if you would like.

6. If a player disconnects, use of the 'Recover Game' feature will be used to continue the game. If the player has gone offline completely, inform an admin and wait 10 minutes for them to return.If the player does not return within 10 minutes of the disconnect they will automatically forfeit the match.

Eg if Pet and moonglade are the only top 16 players to register they will be seeded as 1 and 2

Yeah +1, India counts as SEA server/community. There are only a handful of regulars anyway, but those guys are very active within our scene/sc2sea.

A big thank you to metal and padula for casting the first of many Hype Cups.

Congrats to PiG for coming 1st without dropping a map.

Big thank you again to all players who played in the cup, those that played will be awarded Hype Points for the invitational tournament in 4 weeks times.

All prizes have been paid immediately, prizes were posted as USD.

Some quick concerns:
- The next cup will have semis as bo3 with 2 vetos for each player, this will then break down the map pool to 3 maps, each player chooses their map for if they lose the first game, the remaining map is the first to be played.

- the same format will be used in the finals however each player will have only 1 veto, they then take it in turns to decide what map if they lose until 1 map remains.

- any player wish to play must sign themselves up, I will not accept other players to sign up for you unless its the manager, eg Chadmann signing up the Fray boys. Clan leaders that have been signing up for their players, I do apologise

For any other requests about future tournaments be sure to hit me up with your ideas, I would love to hear your advice on how the tournament could be run "better"

I don't see why every round can't be vetos..
Bo1 first round on a ******* horrid map (I hate Sejong playing as all races) leaves a lot of windows of opportunity closed for some people.

Set maps on Bo3 sets at least give a chance of map selection after a loss, but Bo1 just seems a bit brutal
