This event is a 128 player competition, single elimination style tournament. $100 prize on offer to the winner, sponsored by Eddie and XanT! Sc2sea will donate $30 from our community donations to increase the tournament prize to $100 so it can be listed on TL!. $20 2nd prize, $10 3rd.

Details

Date: Sunday, 8th of May, 2011.
Time: 6pm AEST, 4pm SGT
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in Masters or Grand Masters League (1v1 - SEA license). Lower players will be disqualified.
How to Sign Up: post your user name, character code in this thread

Prizes: Winner gets the $100 prize and bragging rights for being the best of the best. $20 for 2nd, $10 to 3rd
Battle.net Chat-Channel: "sc2seaMC". If the event is full, the late replacement channel shall be sc2seaMCx. System shall be organising replacements, pm him or talk in channel.

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to FaDeEdOne.139 or XanT.665 in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the Admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own Sea account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro128: The Shattered Temple (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro64: Metalopolis (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro32: Shakuras Plateau (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro16: Tal'Darim Altar LE (B03)
Ro8: GSL Crevasse (B03)
Semi-Finals: GSL Terminus RE (B03)
Finals: Xel'Naga Caverns (B05)
(3rd Place Match Xel'Naga 1st, B03)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

Xel'Naga Caverns, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Scrap Station, Typhon Peaks, The Shattered Temple, Tal'Darim Altar LE, GSL Crevasse, GSL Crossfire, GSL Terminus RE

* Players are allowed 1 veto each per round. 2 vetos are allowed in the B05 final. First game cannot be vetoed.

It was a good tournament, with many of Sea's best involved. I believe we have 930+ viewers, which is fantastic.

Congratulations to nFiTargA who played very well throughout the tournament, earning his place as champion. Yekke gave him a good run, with the zvz finals taking 5 games. Unfortunately inf

had to leave early for mothers day, having made the semi in convincing fashion, including a 2-0 win > YoonYJ. NEOIndy claims third place. Masters Cup #4 will be back in a month.
