Format

A Single Elimination format bracket will be hosted on Challonge.

8 seeds will be given to players ranked highest in the current OSC point standings (up to 32th place)

All games will be Bo3.

Map pool will be the current ladder pool. WCS veto system will be used.

Rules

Games will be played on NA server. Players can choose to play on another server if both players are agreeable to.

Players who have opponents who haven't shown up 15 minutes after the tournament starts will be given the choice to walkover or wait.

Players may request for more time to show up prior to the tournament start. Be reasonable with the time you ask for though!

In the event of any disconnects, players can either use "Recover Game" under the Replays section or they can replay the game. The default option is to use "Recover Game".

No BM at all to anyone. WCS Handbook approved!

1st: 25 OSC points + $15 AUD + 30% off XmashedGear Voucher
2nd: 15 OSC points + $5 AUD + 30% off XmashedGear Voucher
3rd/4th: 5 OSC points each
5th-8th: 2.5 OSC points each

On the topic of OSC points, here are more ways to earn OSC points in this tournament:

Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher than themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

Just like old times, it's another ZvZ finals featuring EnDerr once again, but this time facing against MightyKiwi! And as you expected, MK did his trademark opening / cheese / whatever you called it and took down EnDerr with a score of 2-1. WP to both players!

To celebrate another milestone (15th time) next FFN, I'll be increasing the prize pool to $50. To end off this week, big thanks to Metalcore for casting at the start, until it was really too late in NZ for him to handle (I blame Wally and Schnitzel for this).

Once again, not all human beings are perfect and we can only strive to be. Because I've forgotten to add in Soundwave initially, I had to remake the brackets, causing some people to get tougher brackets and stuff like that. I'd like to formally apologise to everyone affected, and I'll really try to be more careful from now onwards!
