Hello Everyone,

I Just wanted to do a minor survey, mostly on gaming related topics.
Please comment answering these questions:

1. What is your favourite gaming peripheral maker? (Razer, Ttesports etc.)

2. Do you sit on a chair when you play? if not, what? or if you do, what type of chair is it?

3. Earphones or Headset?

4. DotA or League of Legends?

5. If you could bring 1 Unit back from Brood-War (or restore a current unit to what it was in Brood-War), what unit would it be and why?

1) If I don't answer Razer chadmann knocks out my teeth.

2) No I just levitate a few feet off the ground. That's why I have such good posture.

3) Headset. Made by Razer (ofc)

4) Only one of those is actually a videogame played by professionals.

5) This is a difficult question to answer since pretty much all the units in SC2 are better then BW units since the absence of certain BW units is made up by blatantly overpowered shit and after hots introduced a few more we pretty much have the BW terran roster.

So I guess my answer is Science Vessels, because TvZ isn't enough of a joke yet and I need to smartcast irradiate over the entire Zerg army whilst feeling myself up with my other hand.

1. Steelseries atm. mouse/keyboard I have a 6GV2 and was so impressed with the build quality for the price I went with them again when I needed a new mouse (sensei raw rubber)

2. Yes... I recently bought a nice new mesh chair with some fancy lumbar support etc.

3. headphones. Spent a fair bit of money on my audio gear (decent stereo system and headphone setup).

4. DotA. I don't really "get" league... everything is so cartoony with bright colours flashing everywhere when I watch I can't tell what is going on anywhere. I also dislike the only having a few heroes thing. I have favourites in dota, but I also like being able to hit that random button.

5. For my own race/playstyle... 100% the goliath. hellbats as op as they are are not as all-purpose a unit to play mech with. Some anti-air that isn't the kinda clunky, expensive thor or vikings would be cool.

What I think would make a more interesting game... Probably the reaver to replace the colossus. **** I hate a siege unit that is so mobile... just engages and can walk up cliffs and stuff. Things like tanks/swarm hosts which require positioning are more interesting to watch/play with, imo.

I can't really comment on which is my favourite peripheral maker but it's a toss up between SteelSeries and Razer (keyboard's Razer, mouse is SteelSeries and both of them have been brilliant for me).

I do sit on a chair when playing, and I sit on one of those generic computer chairs you see in an office except mine's less comfortable and is falling apart.

I like the in-ear earphones when I'm out and about but if I'm at home or when I'm gaming I much prefer headphones; headsets are alright with me since they just have an additional microphone but if it's only headphones with no mic attachments I'd much prefer that.

DotA definitely, I don't mind League but personally it's not as fun for me.

One unit back eh.. Honestly I'd go with the Scout. They're epic anti-air units and can provide ground support if needed (speed boost + sight range upgrades make them so damn good). Only issue I have with them is that they're piss expensive to invest in, but they're extremely effective if you keep them alive and start massing them up.

1. Tte-sports, Every peripheral I own is tte-sports. Keyboard (Challenger) , Headset (Shock), Mouse (lvl M). I find them durable (given my rage issues) and really comfortable to use.

2. Wooden Chair, Keeps my back straight, good posture while playing.

4. DotA. I think it is more challenging then league, I always like a challenge

1. I can't leave my razor abyssus. I have a G9X and a new Gigabyte Krypton (Both up for purchase to anyone reading this xD). And Filco majestouch 2 - fantastic and worth the money.

2. Office chair. It's more comfy than my chair at the office though. Hmm...

4. I downloaded LoL on the weekend when I was bored. I was quickly reminded how poisonous MOBA communities are - and how ridiculously difficult it is to match 10 players, let alone have all stay in the game.

5. I feel a re-worked scourge unit would do a lot of good for the zerg metagame.

1. I have a love-hate relationship with Razer (headsets were terrible for me, mice have been amazing) and I love my Ducky Shine 2

2. Standard faux-leather office chair. The back isn't straight enough though and I can't adjust that, so I have mixed feelings towards it.

3. Headset generally, earphones I find irritating for extended play.

4. Dota for sure; seen my housemate play league and couldn't stand it; much prefer the art style of dota and I'm used to the gameplay so it's a win-win for me.

5. Lurker would be cool for zerg, I think I prefer that over swarm hosts so far. But there's a whole heap of units that would be awesome but really need every other unit to be brought back for balance's sake.

Don't have a Favourite. My old Keyboard and mouse was a cheap Logitech K120 Combo (keyboard and mouse). Now i got a new computer, the package came with Gigabyte KM-5300 Desktop (keyboard and mouse). So i using that now.

I just sit or a normal small office chair.

3. Earphones or Headset?
Speakers.

Didn't play any of those.

Hard one, since i am terran i would bring back Golithe, it make a good air and ground support unit (especially air).

1. Not sure since I'm just using a humble laptop. Any mouse that feels right to my hand gets my seal of approval.

2. I actually sit on a counter chair (those tall ones) because my laptop is at a counter top.

1) Razor since I use their mouse and mousepad I guess.. I don't really care about the companies - Logitech a close second since I use their keyboard.

2) I do sit in a chair, its a bad cheap armless swivel chair that sucks and I hate it.. The only upside to it is that it doesn't squeak...yet..

3) If I have to.. earphones but I use my speakers more than anything since I'm always playing music

4) I played LoL and I've played DotA. Both are fine, I prefer DotA2 for gameplay but in the end I'm not going to be playing either moba unless friends ask me to play with them, in which case I'd play whichever they wanted.

5) I didn't play broodwar, so I don't know much so I can't speak much on it but I'd have to say the vulture and spider mines because I feel like mines are something missing from HotS.. in all seriousness though probably the lurker, I like the idea of morphing hydras into something else it'd be neat.

I'll try and answer this with out being too bias...

1) Razer, Not only do they sponsor my team but as someone who's studied Advertising and product dev. Razer have the best packaging, product design and marketing of 'em all. So I like that.. Aesthetics #1 !!

2) Sick arse office chair from Office Works.. Komo Managers chair or something.. had it for 2+ years then it broke and had a three year warranty, so onto another one for free yeeee

3) Headset!!! Prefer enclosed headsets - so this Kraken Pro from Razer I have on is pretty nice

4) dooooooooohhhhhhhtaaahz, there are so many reasons Dota is better.. firstly, you can pick da panda... or da bear.. it doh maddah

5) hmmm.. I remember BW Siege tanks being pretty imba.. or Dark Archons being a lot of fun (2x 200/200 armies anyone?).. Scourges are a good option, as a zerg player I'll have to go with that or Lurkers mmmmmm Yeah.. **** Marine Mine.. give me lurkers.

1. So far the best ive used is from logitech. Logitech stuff never seems to die.

2. I have some 100$ chair, its pretty comfy but is not so good for the posture.

3. Both. I dumped abit of money into a decent soundcard, speakers and headphones. I dislike all "gaming headsets" because they all sound terrible.

4. DotA. Because LoL is for dickeds.

5. I would brring back the goliath. Terran mech is missing something and i think that something is the goliath. I would be happy if they removed the hellbat for the goliath even.

1) razer mice have never failed me. so far i've only tried a ducky mech keyboard, love it. razer keyboards can eat a bag of dicks from my experience with them so far (sorry chadmann!)

3) I use a plantronics headset, but they kinda hurt my ears cause they don't cover them fully. Not sure if small ear cups or large ears. >.> But I use razer ferox speakers most of the time. I don't like that it has white noise like 90% of the time though...

4) DotA, duhhhh... LoL? pssscchh, even the name is laughable.

1. Will never buy a mouse that isn't a Razer Deathadder as long as they're in production, and I really love my Steelseries 7Gv2 keyboard - by far the best peripherals I've had thus far. Gun to my head I'd say Razer just because of the Deathadder

2. Random chair I got from Officeworks that looks kinda like the racing seats in a car because **** yeah colours.

3. Headphones - not headset. The Audio quality of a 200 dollar "Gaming Headset" is far inferior to the same amount spent on good quality over-ear Headphones, if you have the amp/sound card to back it up. Still using my Audiotechnica ATH M50S's at the moment. Will eventually upgrade to Beyerdynamics.

1. Not sure I use a whole lot of everything, but i must say i preffer Tt and Corsair, my favourite so far

2. Well if you can call it a chair, yes I do.

4. League since DotA frustrates me to play, but I preffer to watch DotA over League

Yes I sit in a chair, the chair I use is one of those seats that looks like a racing seat. Its pretty comfy

I prefer headset. I like to have my ears covered, for some reason it helps me concentrate better

Well I never played Brood War online cause I was kinda young when I played it but I played the campaigns and offline quite a bit but the unit I would probably bring back would be the arbiter or the reaver, they were fun units

My Turn

1. I actually asked this question to be a factor into what brand of peripherals i should purchase with my new computer, I have been tossing up between razer and Tte because of their sponsorship of SEA based teams, Currently i use a generic Microsoft Keyboard and Logitech Mouse.

2. I sit on a cube , I no-longer have a chair because i used to rock on it like it was one of the crappy plastic ones from school ^.^ Old habits die hard.

3. I used to have a Gamecom: Plantronics Headset 377 (set me back about $50 in a sale at EB Games) , but after 6 months of solid use, the plastic became brittle and snapped , i now settle with $8 Liquidears earphones .

4. I have played both but I think i Prefer DotA 2, because they have the noobish Character named 'Lion' with an instant attack called 'Finger of Death', he deals massive damage instantly, and can also turn people into frogs, which is nice. I don't like difficult squishy units with no decent spells, so that why i Play Lion in DotA and Protoss in StarCraft 2.

5. As a Protoss player, I would toss up between bringing back the Corsair or the Reaver, I think the corsair AA Splash would be great, but the phoenix usually do fine there, so overall i think the Reaver would be a fun addition to the Protoss arsenal.

Normally the earphones will play ingame sound and the outer will be noise cancelling headphones so you cant hear anyelse. I personally use it for music (earphone) and ingame sound (headphone)

Goliaths! I was not a big fan of T but I am happy with my favourite units from the other races, but nothing really replaced the goliath for Terran in my eyes.

Right now I am using a mixture but I think SteelSeries, The Kinzu mouse I have is incredible and while I have yet to upgrade my keyboard to a 6gv2 I have heard excellent reviews of them.
