Hey guys I was wondering whether any of you guys would want to consider joining a SC2 clan.

I mean this in the sense that this would be just a friendly Sc2 Clan because I have considered created on mainly for like Bronze and Silver players where we could you know like helping each other out and helping each other to improve. But anyone can join if they want to its all good.

But yeah I just wanted to see if any of you guys would be interested and yeaaah, let me know what you think and Ill keep ya posted

Hi spartaz, there are currently many established clans in sea. U can click on the clans tab at the top on the page to view some of the more established clans.

I know there are man, but not many orientated around mainly bronze and silvers. I was just considering it, I know that FaDe is probably the closest to what im thinking about....

I think it's a great idea man, if you're excited about it then people will come. Post in the BSG stream and thread, probs get a few to join up. I would join, but I'm not playing that seriously right now.

Here's how a Bronze and Silver Clan will work.
1) Say you get a small base, say ten people.
2) You set up a chat channel on SEA.
3) Bronze will vs Bronze.
4) Bronze #1 > Bronze #2.
5) Bronze #2 practices to beat Bronze #1.
6) Bronze #2 > Bronze #1.
7) Bronze #2 = Silver #2.
8) Bronze #1 practices to beat Silver #2.
9) Bronze #1 = Silver #1
10) Silver #1 > Silver #2
11) Repeat steps 4 - 10
12) Clan gets more powerful
13) Clan gets more users.
And Voilà. In 5 months you have a full Diamond/Masters Clan.

I dont think many would want to use their only name change on a clan just beginning, optional to start with is the best way to go imo!

I'm necroing this thread in response to the blog surrounding the way forward for Clans and the direction of SC2SEA as a community.

To the mods, yes I know what I am doing, and yes I will be remorseful for it later, but I think the point needs to be made though. That point being, regardless of whatever your skill background/what experience you may have - you are capable of creating something similar to or the likes of any of the currently active clans.

Take it as statement of how I feel that the community should go in the direction of supporting the re-balancing of the scene as a whole. Traditionally, there was a higher number of lower league players from

through to

, with only a smaller proportion of

and

players that were some of the louder voices of the community. I feel as though we have lost this direction over the years and become primarily focused on facilitating events, activities and development of the players at the higher tier (not that this is necessarily a bad thing, but I think you would agree with me in on the fact that it isn't sustainable for the growth of the community).

Oddly enough, SC2SEA feels like a very different place from when I was last active, and I mean properly active - not my fleeting visits, with new faces that probably don't even know me (but that's good with me, I like meeting and talking to new people).

I have to agree on the focus on the masters and gm players. Sc2Sea feels far less like a place for all then it did only a year ago, almost no reason for the plebs to hang around outside of seeing the amazing necro posts.

It would be nice to know what clans are available for BSG players now. An which ones are active. I think i as a member of TOR before i went AWOL lol so who knows now.
