I wanted leg to go further too but it wasnt that bad for me coz i really look up to light skill wise too.

I was really really sad when lee chong wei lost to lin dan at the olympics tho, it was heart breaking watching him struggling to compose himself after he just barely missed out on getiing malaysias first ever gold

I wanted Legionnaire to get top 6 so that he will play more, it sucks SO MUCH that he won't be playing anymore and that was probably the last games we'll ever see from him. Would have sung his praises all day!

At WCS Aus I was sad for iaguz and Legionnaire and at WCS Oceania I was sad for KnighT because he gave his best vs MG and fell quickly to Jaz

On the subject of leggy, he's actually ******* awesome and I just wish he could keep playing SC2 (damn work/girlfriend commitments!) I heard he was giving out wisdom and tips to a few players but I never got any of those. Can only assume my play is theoretically perfect; no advice means no flaws right?

Though maybe it's for the best he doesn't play he ******* knows how to shank someone if he wants to. A few months training to smooth out shit, get proper fundamentals and stop supply blocking himself and holy shit he'd be a top Protoss for sure.

Leg is a swell kinda guy. We talked at length about his preparation for this event and also his time in korea and gave me a whole bunch of stuff to think about when practicing.

Sure hope he shows up to another event!

Frustration got frustrated and left game 2 without a GG after making a serious error against Legionaire's multi-prone attack. But I see them talking fine and happily in the days afterwards so I don't think there was any animosity whatsoever. Just a young boy being frustrated from losing, it isn't a bad thing, I'm sure we all remember how Tgun has came along.

That said...

Yeah it was pretty sad, wasn't quite as affected by it as tgun being knocked out. Had a good chat with Leg Sunday, encouraged him to stay involved somehow whether it be caster, competitor or spectator, because it is just good to have the guy associated with the scene - I never watched him in BW but I had learned about him via TLPD, and that was enough to get that crazy good feeling when he signed up for Bris quals, and then to realise that he actually qualified. He just brings excitement.

Yeah - I had a chat to Leg about how he prepared for the event and it was amazing. He is definitely a very, very smart player. Worked out Mafia's scouting patterns and overlord placemens by watching his VODs and Streams... Really researched each player..

But most importantly, he said that times like these - he wishes he was back playing.. And he even suggested that he would like to come along to some of the Brisbane LANs from time to time. ^_^

It was an awesome event, and i'm so glad that i was able to experience it. I never thought something as epic/professional as that would ever be run in Aus.

@iaguz. I must help my protoss brethren, not the evil terran filth!
I am actually thinking of doing a big write up about thoughts and strategies and other random concepts that i think of, we'll see how that goes.

Good news is i get to re - live part of the event when i go and watch a lot of the vods of the games i missed - particularly on the first day when i was kidnapped for interviews.
