hey all this thread is for you to either conplain that Toss is op [insert Sarcasim for those who dont understand] but also just for you to talk about the event in general and the games involved.
Mc played like a boss! And stephano yet again the only foreigner finishing in top 3. As gosu as he is Stephano was really arrogant in his interview after his 3rd palce win and came off as a total douche. He said some stuff about squirtle after their game which is unsporting and disrespectful, what a shame sets a bad example for people who look up to him as a role model because of his skill.
MC is "same same but different" in that sense that it seems like he does it on purpose to be entertaining, not because hes actually an inherent douche. I'm not complaining tho it makes the characters so much more colorful and exciting to watch.
As for the LAN I love how replays at out so extremely fast but im getting bored of day 9. I prefer artosis/rotterdamn now as casters
but im getting bored of day 9. I prefer artosis/rotterdamn now as casters
Is this just because he tends to get paired with often underwhelming co-casters? I don't particularly dislike djwheat, but in a field of tastosis' and rotterdam, I feel like he is just not in the same league, so he either detracts a little from Day9, or it leaves Day9 having to do too much himself, which leads to getting bored of him (solo casting in general tends to do this for me, as good as Day9 can be at it)

exactly this.
I am always seeing tournament after tournament, a brilliant caster paired up with an underwhelming (excellent word to use, ery moose) co caster and it really hurts my brain as it comes off as essentially an analyst, and a guy going "yes..... yes... yeah... exactly.... you're absolutely right"
its almost as if they have a caster, and an ego booster to help the caster continue on.
DGWolf basically if you want to start a thread, you have to put more effort into it, provide some information about the event, perhaps a link to the replays or final standings and make it easy for people to start a discussion. one sentence doesn't cut it and people especially protss players don't like protoss op whines.
I can see you're new so you probably aren't aware of this. I hope this doesn't deter you from posting anymore! Welcome to sc2sea and hope you enjoy your stay (end of nirvana carebear message)
Also you guys should have seen what happened to spartaz when he first came to sc2sea, lol!!!!
Yea Erasmus makes an excellent point. I love DjWheat for the person he is but as a caster hes my least favourite. Husky is far better than wheat imo, but still isnt near artosis/rotti/day 9 level of course.
Wow lol the bad cred i was making a joke wow. alright ok . to the topic at hand. i ended up not going to school today due to my ashma so was able to watch the finals and was awesome lots of great games. who was your fav Player and why ?mine was Either Bomber because he showed again and again how to play TvP. lots of terrans are saying Toss OP when really Bomber Showed how it was done. and MC probs because he is my Fav Players, also that awesome turn around game on Daybreak vs Bomber in the finals.
As for the Casters i honestly went to watch Group C done by Husky over the main Stage matches simply because i like him better as a caster than the others. as for Rotterdam Artosis and Nick Plott (tastless) i have only seen them once and a while so i havent seen as much of their stuff. and was introduced to day 9 from when i first Joined here on Original account (WoLF_Dragunov which my email is no longer accessable) and i still enjoy all his stuff and also prefer the analytical side of the casting simply because it is great to listen to as a noob player and lets me look into the strats that these epic players are using. Husky is Just Badarse i guess
