QLD BSG and PD Discussion Thread

Welcome Mighty BSG and PD Maroons (only fitting that we keep our colour from the real SoO). This thread exists solely to help organise us for the upcoming tournament especially the most imminent dates. I will attempt to keep this thread as up to date as possible over the coming weeks.

On one last note... we need a mascot. The QLD maroons mascot is a cane toad... unfortunately we don't have an equivalent starcraft unit so the best suggestion I can come up with is the QLD Infestor... more suggestions welcome

Was one of the last to rego so I'll sit out the first saturday if we've got the players.

kk hey yeah ill be on holidays on the 24th i can play (Wolf_Dragunov) also why not the QLD Marauder because all he wants is to hug unless you hug him he wont blow off your face

Hey guys, I got promoted to gold today

. I am keen to play whenever as I finish exams this week so lots of SC2.

As far as availability I am not available between the 6th and 21st of July as I will be away on a holiday then but I should be available for any other dates.

As for mascot, I ♥ marauders and am all for that, and I think the only other option would be a baneling with a skin mod so that it was maroon.

What division are you a part of? If you're Platinum or Diamond the match is on Saturday the 23rd.

I am not sure exactly how this works but doesn't it also depend on who the admins match us up against?

Daybreak is also the map I most often practice on but I don't mind switching if we do get a choice.

Usually you say if you can play, and maybe pick a preferred map and we'll put you on that map and you'll go up against whoever the other team puts on that map.

Btw guys we have a skype group that no one uses but it'll be our main form of communication, so hit me or thegentlemen up with a pm if you aren't part of it yet.

In an ideal world we need to have our line-up selected no later than Thursday. I will send a mass PM later today or early tomorrow with more details including my skype contact so we can add you to our skype group.

OK so it's now time for me to start organising the PD and BSG teams for this upcomming week. So here's how I'm going to do it:

I would appreciate it if early in the week you could inform me if you are unable to partake in the upcomming rounds prior to any of the following deadlines.

3 days before your match I will collect the names of people interested in participating in the tournamament. This will be done exclusively through the skype Brisbane Starcraft 2 group. My username is "chaddersphi" (minus the quotes), add me if you wish to be added to this group.

2 days before your match I will finalise a line-up and post it to all concerned and to the skype group. Players will have 24 hours from the time of this message to inform me if they can no longer partake in the upcomming round so I can find a replacement. I can be informed either through skype or PM in SC2SEA.

1 day before the match the line-up will be finalised and submitted to CombatEZ/TekMezjE.
