Hi I am beTasoO and I would like to atleast try my best to convice everyone i am not a smurt..
Firstly I have always have played on this acc and can be looked into in the mtach histroy...
Also my match histroy shows i had played alot of diamond players in past 2 weeks...
Not to mention the amazing coashing from Random, a master zerg player.
I do feel bad that I am arrousing questions about smurfing on my part but just because i won a match against dia zerg doesn't mean i am a smurf. If u wan the replays just let me know i will be more then happy to upload them.
I am sorry if me beating the MArinefifty player made everyone question about the skills and smurfing but I for one am an honest player with one account and thats it....

I check the SC2Ranks of every player against TA each week.. each manager should do this to weed out smurfs. BeTasoO also has barely played this season - if at all.
Additionally the matter has be brought up with the SEAL admins to review - where myself or Arnor will not have input into the decision.

Don't think it's biased because I take the time to check players before matches. BeTassO was a 1400 Diamond league player.. This is why he is being alleged as a smurf - not because he beat a Diamond player. I raised this issue with Arnor and Edarus before or shortly after the end of the first match between MarineFifty and BeTasoO.

EDIT, and Diamond players are not permitted to be subbed into this tournament - MarineFifty was plat when he signed up and was promoted. This being the crux of the issue regarding his legibility for this tournament - VB asked to sub in a Diamond player mid season and were denied, ZeroCraft should have the same rules applied to them.

Shouldn't we be looking at replays from the start of the season / when he joined the team then?

I mean, all that matters is if he legitimately dropped in skill from the previous season's 1400 dia to SEACL's start. If he did, then improved to dia level again, I don't see that as being any different to any other player who earned a dia promotion this season

My only question is why this has become an issue after a game win to ZC. Why wasnt this raised when you discovered it? Surely this should have been discussed during the day - not after a crucial game win to ZC and against TA.

Either way, i dont think it will matter. This is only the regular season after all - the playoffs are all that is coming

tier 5 has been great, really manner between every team. As the stakes got higher, so have the the tempers. This will all blow over in the morning, let's just everyone take the night off playing detective and posting.

Yeah it's just about being consistent - VB were denied a Diamond sub into their team because that admins decided that it was best if Diamonds don't join the tournament, but if the promote to diamond from within that is okay. The issue is that BeTasoO may have been diamond level - smurfing his MMR for awhile before subbing into the tournament. It is being discussed amongst the admins and a decision will be made shortly.

Also, QED v QED - you're results need to be reported before the ToR results will be announced - I have heard that some players have no matches played in their match history and while no accusations are being made - I request that replays of ALL you're games are available for review to ensure no incorrect results are reported to give either team the best standing in the playoffs.

I have a spread sheet for the map wins/loss.

talk about down to the wire -
if its 4-2 to ZeroCraft, and the next two games remaining TA 2-0 and 1-2 TA will be in 1st. of course, if it is 3-3 match score, TA take 1st.. and if ZeroCraft 5-1 they take first.

at the current 2-1 score line, TA are 1 map win in the lead. so if the final two games are 2-1 0-2 for TA the match would then go to map losses meaning a tied map win (both teams would then be on 69 map wins, but ZeroCraft would take 1st with less map losses.

Bof3s is tied atm 33-15 a piece (including the "2-1" bof3s tonight) so a 4-2 (or 3-2 bof3) win results in a tie

First of all I posted on here @ 9:19 AM yesterday (this being the first opp that I had to see the matchups.) This had been discussed through TA; in that same post I also stated that if a re-schedule could not be organised, that TA might have to use a sub.

Since then I have heard next to nothing regarding the games; looking through I cannot see any posts that explain what is happening. Arnor I feel that I did everything in my power to alert your team that I was not available to play at the scheduled time; whilst I appreciate the apology that you have given for calling me out; I find that it was ill-informed for you to do so in the first place; I was constantly checking the posts for any re-scheduling or subbing news and it would be nice if all post were checked before my name gets thrown into the mix of not informing people what's going on.

On that note - What did happen with last nights game; has it been re-scheduled? If so; when?
I am generally fairly easy-going in regards to when I can play, only time that is not available to me; is the times that I am at work ie (M-F)

I saw the matchup at work; don't have skype there; then I went from work to where I needed to be; no time to notify you via skype; hence why it was done over here.

Pretty sure the ToR results won't be posted until the result is final for the QED matches.
Since the resulting table places come down to the unplayed QED v QED match, it would make sense that the other results are still only known by Chadmann until that final game is played.

I'm going to post something I honestly regret to post.
I don't want any discussion in this thread about the matter, if you have anything to say, please PM me.

At this stage, there will be continuing investigations into the concerns raise that the QED v QED match results may have been forged. results were recorded, but games were not played. The defence that the results were games that were not played was that there were walk overs, however, players that were walked over were online. Also, a QED member has stated that they were told not to play their game - then a result was reported that QED were 3-2 with 1 game to play. This result makes it possible for QED Krrn and Co to pass ToR on the ladder and make it into playoffs if ToR lost their game.

Now, I am struggling to make a decision about this. But I ask any member of Tier 5 that knows anything about this issue. or if a member of QED want to talk to us about what has happened then please, PM me.

By Sunday afternoon the SEAL admins will make a decision about this matter (this is not something myself or Maynarde are deciding ourselves, we are calling apon the judgement of all SEAL admins to develop a solution to this problem.

I have thought about the Smurfing issue... If I had of noticed the player had been in Diamond several times before being subbed into the team I would have been very hesitant to allow them into the league - however, as I missed this usual check I make I will dismiss the issue with BeTasoO.. That issue being, the player was subbed in mid season - we have not allowed Diamond level subs and I have no doubts that BeTasoO is at least, a diamond level player. However, the sub was approved at the time. There will be no action against BeTasoO unless other information is brought forward.

I just want to clarify, QED - there is nothing against you guys, you're all great members of this community - I really don't want people to discredit this clan that has anyways been nothing but completely mannered and usually fair. This is the only mark against their reputation and I hope everyone doesn't judge QED on this one offence.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that Zerocraft beat TA. excellent job guys, definitely a team to fear in the playoffs and any future events they attend.

Despite the score there were some really good back and forth games in there. I know my second game vs Nevar was very stressful for myself and the final game between Breadfan and BenAD was a 33 minute long PvT with lots of engagements and back and forth throughout the entire game.

Im actually on a real struggle atm, today my ladder session was horrible, 3 and 9 i think.. and my games vs clan mates has been about 50% or less.. I personally think most of them should hurry up and get promoted if they can beat me 50% of the time lol! (Most of them put in a good ladder day today atleast).

And I guess that means Tier 5 is over for us

never looked at ur w/l until you've learned from your losses. i didn't do that until recently and it helps plain vs clan mates is always more or less a coin flip cause you guys have been playing quite awhile with each other and sometimes more or less know what you're gonna do or not

I hope to see the slugs kicking it with next season at the top of the table

Yeah I am not sure exactly where I am going wrong, trying to work out my key area to improve, but I am finding it hard which is the frustrating thing.

And yeah I think they all know my weaknesses now, so are abusing it.. Which is a good thing as that means I can focus on it a little.... Although it seems that everyone on ladder has picked up on it too :P

Try playing in the last couple of games; so happy to take the first game with a line/bane composition.

I have to hand it to Smoky; that 2nd game not sure if I would've made the same choices as him if I had been down; going for the 10pool I believe; only to be countered by my own 10pool.

He was good enough to have thrown down an expo; I didn't and he never really let me get one; when I saw the expansion advantage I knew that I was done and dusted; but I didn't want to gg out; I didn't want to go into the 3rd game.
Soon after that though (one or two roach attacks later) I did end up gg'ing out.

So I picked TDA, figuring that Smoky might 15 hatch it; he didn't (14/14 I think), but I went speedling expand (what I feel is the safer option); only to win via a timing attack; all the game were ridiculously close and as always in ZvZ can be decided by a bane pop on lots of lings or a bane pop on 1-2 lings.

Again I have to say GGWP to Smoky; the games were so even that it could've gone either way.
We even joked about this after the matches and traded strats.

Looking forward to a finals series against you guys; just no more ZvZ please

Basically, from a series of communication failures internally for QED and between QED and League admins was the crux of the issue. Combined with other coincidences formed the basis of the previous allegations. I personally retract these allegations and apologise to all concerned in the matter.
