Won't ever be able to make it - as mentioned in channel last night that time is when I finish work.

I'm always up for practise when I'm online - I've been a bit inactive the last week to week and a half, mostly because the apparent influx of maphackers into SEA ladder has demotivated me from playing for a bit.

I'm back to normal playing and ready to regain my edge, though, and always happy to practise, but scheduling stuff at Eastern times is always going to be impossible for me.

Thats cool. Might have to change the time/date at some point. We will see how this goes

Yes, generally 20 dollars. Maybe a bit more every now and then

People just have to show up in the channel [WNG] and brackets will be made then. Might have to change the sign up design depending on how tonight goes.

ANNOUNCMENT
After much discussion, it has been revealed that the winner of this weeks tournament was a smurf who tried to pass himself off as a bronze league player. ZooM's team has talked to him and I trust whatever their decision may be. I have decided, however, that ZooM will be barred from next weeks WNG Weekly Open. After that, he may play in any others provided his actions are not repeated. I want to apologize to all who were affected by this.

On a lighter note
Starting next week, the tournament will have a new sign up format! Watch this thread for updates.

Is it possible to push the time of the tournament back by an hour? 5PM SGT is a little too early for me .. I don't know about anyone else tho.

Petraeus is based in NZ which is why the start would be so early for you so I dont know if that would be possible. However I could be wrong

Sorry SoulZ but if this is tournament is going to continue through the school year, I (as an NZer) can't manage something that would go that late. I know its really difficult for Singaporeans to play but unless the day is changed, the current time will have to stay the same.

This week we had a lot of new casters show up unexpectedly. It turned out well as we had a lot more of the games covered

Updates
This week I allowed a couple of latecomers to join as replacements for no shows. However, I don't think this worked very well as the name can't be changed on the bracket and theres no fair way to distribute the late comers. So from now on I won't be including this

Also, starting from next week, the tournament will be called the wT Weekly to support Winter Nights' new tag

Foreigner situation
This week I had a player say he didn't want to play in this weeks tournament because people didn't like Koreans winning everything.
I know that in some tournaments, only SEA residents are allowed to enter. In the Masters Cup for example, non-SEA residents can only join every third tournament.
However, the wT Weekly is open to any player, SEA resident or not. I like to see a lot of competition and participation in these tournaments, regardless of skill.
We have only had non-SEA residents in 3 out of the 8 wT Weekly's so far, and only one non-SEA resident has won one.
I hope to see a larger amount of foreigners in the future ^^ Especially you Koreans

wT Weekly on hold.

I am sorry to say that I will no longer be running the wT Weeklies.
They have been great fun and I hope you guys had fun too ^.^
At the moment I am very busy with school and want to spend all my spare time playing, rather than managing. I will try and find a replacement so we can continue these but for the mean time, they won't be happening T_T
