"Apth! Let's get going! the portal is ready!" Bellowed the old wise HD..

"Aye aye Master!" The poor chap carrying satchels of potions packed by his master. As he moved, the bottles jingles making a sweet melody so decieving to the ears, the contents the old wizard had prepared is everything but sweet.

"once we arrived at Metalopolis, i wan you to prepare the Deisguze Potion.. it's to ensure my dear daughter doesn't recognized us!"

"Aye Master!" although Apth is heavyly burden by the weight of the potions and ingredients, he tries hard not to show..

"this journey won't be a short one.. I want to drop by Xel'Naga Cara to pick up some more ingredients just in case what we have isn't sufficent.." HD enters the portal without looking back whether his apprentice is following..

"sigh.. more ingredient..." the already weary apprentice dragged his legs and enters the portal praying to Holy Mezza that the ingredients than his master is getting are nothing but just herbs...

[Brultze]

Umm zeion? It's not apeth. It's apth.

"I AM FIRST!!! haha you're the slimy drake! Verdana is a slimy drake!" Tanahon chants happily while jumping on his bed.

"YOU cheated Tanahon! You cast a Sprrint Spell!" Whined the tired Verdana.

"AW too bad you're not a mage brother!" Tanahon flashed a cheeky smile back at his buddy. " Either way i guess it's good training for you.. As a mighty sword welding warrior wearing his shinning amour he may need to sprint after a fleeing enemy messenger who has information of our battle plans and it all lies in hand of the warrior whether would those important information lies in the hands of the enemy commander" Tanahon staged the whole act waving his staff like a sword.

"It's never a warrior doing such chase! they will send rogues and assassin in such cases!" Verdana took down his heavy protective amour and lies on his bed.

"Get to sleep now brother. tomorrow won't be a sight-seeing trip" Verdana yawned and closed his eyes.

"but i am hyped up about tomorrow! i will get to see Paw again!" Tanahon eyes glist with excitement..

"Shut the hell up and let me sleep den! you can just weave a dream of you and Paw for all i care!" snapped the tired warrior..

[Brultze]

As the two boys finally crawled into bed and fell asleep, Torniquet sat on the rafters above them.

"Finally... The time has come for the two boys to die...", whispered Torniquet to himself.

As he nimbly jumped down the rafters onto the floor, Torniquet smiled a cruel smile. "Which of the two should i kill first?", he wondered to himself. "I could kill Tanahon first. Or perhaps i should kill Verdana first. Ah so many choices so little time to decide".

Suddenly, a loud snore punctured the silence in the room. Torniquet, very irritated at this, quickly turned to Tanahon's sleeping figure." Well well well. Thank you for so 'graciously' volunteering yourself to be my first victim tonight Tanahon..."

Torniquet swiftly, yet silently, walked towards Tanhon and as he reached his bedside, Torniquet drew out a long curved knife. Raised it high up into the air. And plunged it down towards Tanahon heart!

[Zeion]

"CLANK"

the loud sound of metal clash rings the whole room...

"Not today Torniquet the Silent... We both are prepared for you..!" Verdana glared right into the eyes of their assassin..

"Hahaha! Prepared?? Let's see how prepared are you!" The dark assassin reach in to his breast pocket and whip out a dagger which sliced the air into half.. direct str8 to Verdana's head...

*tok" the sick sound of the dagger piercing into Verdana's head sounds like heaven in the ears of the assassin.. "Haha!! Prepared you said.. you don't even have time to... "

"POOF" Verdana's body vanished in a puff of smoke..

"What in the Dark Lord happen!" the assassin turned back to look at Tanahon bed.. and the place where Tanahon supposed to be is being replaced by a scarecrow..

"Haha... is that the best the GREATEST assassin known to the world can do?" spooky echos filled the room but it doesn't faze the dark assasin one bit... he lived in darkness all his life...

"DeathsFang... DeathsFang.. tsk tsk... I should have known.." sneered Torniquet..

"Have you gotten tired of running and ready to face death as what your father wanted?"

"He's NOT MY FATHER!" the booming voice shooked the furniture in the room but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the assassin at all..

"Let's see if today's the day my blade will make you squeal like a girl!" Torniquet vanished...

"Will it be alright to stay here?" asked the nervous Verdana.. Right beside him his poor shaking buddy could do nothing hug his kness and stare at blank space..

"Dun worry.. Torniquet is caught in an eternal libo.. I could not do this when he was hunting me as i will be a part in that libo..." assuring the boys DeathsFang cast another spell..

A large dome surround the trio..

"This should keep us safe for now.." smiled the guardian

"What is this dome supposed to sheild us from?" asked the curious Verdana.

"Well.. it sheild us from nothing but make us invisible to the naked eye... just to let you know, we're not bigger then a grain of sand right now.. so it's best for you not move out of this dome be prevent being step on" laughed the guardian thinking he had told a joke...

Suddenly, DeathsFang goes on one knee and clutches his head.

"ARGH MY HEAD!!!! HES BREAKING OUT OF MY CONTAINMENT!!! I CAN'T HOLD HIM FOR MUCH LONGER!!!!"

Then DeathsFang goes quiet...

"H..H...Hes broken through my spell... what power... We must hurry boys! He will be hunting us now! We must make it to the safety of the main hall before he gets to us! Its our best chance of survival!"

Tanahon then blurts out, " Wh...What if he catches us before we get to the main hall?"

"... Then we have only one option... We must fight..."

And with that the trio runs towards the safety of the main hall.

Well after a month of not writing im gonna try and write cause im super bored right now :P. Anyway, here goes...

After breaking the containment, Torniquet appeared back inside Verdana and Tanahon's room...

"Urgh... Why does that stupid DeathsFang finally have to man up now... Meddling fool has disrupted my plans. No matter, ill just kill him too! Yes... And then master Oxygen will reward me greatly..."

Torniquet calmly brushes off the dust on his shoulder and walks towards the door.

"Those fools are probably trying to reach the safety of the main hall. Ill be powerless against the entire council! However, will they be able to reach the hall before i reach them? Ahhh now we all want to know the question to that..."

And with that Torniquet disappears into a cloud of dark smoke as he gives chase to our trio...

[Brultze]

"*Huff* Are we *Huff* close to the hall?" Tanahon asks, barely able to get the words out amidst his gasping for air.

Without even turning to Tanahon's direction DeathsFang replies, "We are nearly there my friend! Just another 200 me..."

Suddenly, Torniquet appears out of thin air in front of DeathsFang and with a cold evil smile, while swinging his knife, he screams, "I HAVE YOU NOW DEATHSFANG!!! DIE!!!"

DeathsFang quickly tries to sidestep Torniquet's attack but was too slow as the cruel knife that has hunted him for so long cut into DeathsFang's side and he crumples to the ground...

The two boy could do nothing but watch as the scene unfolded before them. The whole scene was only a few seconds long but to the two boy it was an eternity, unable to do anything as the person who had saved them from being killed in their sleep was cut down in front of them.

Finally as DeathsFang fell to the floor, Verdana screamed, " DEATHSFANG!!! NOOO!!!"

Verdana and Tanahon immediately charged forward, Tanahon in the began casting a spell while Verdana pulled his sword free from its scabbard and slashed at Torniquet. However, Torniquet merely stepped back. Having finished his incantation a green sphere appeared in Tanahon's hands and he threw it at Verdana. The sphere did not collide into Verdana but passed through his skin into his chest, Verdana although puzzled at first, finally realized what Tanahon had done when he felt his strength double.

Tanahon turned back towards DeathsFang's crumpled body and kneeled down beside, without looking away from DeathsFang Tanahon said to Verdana, " Im going to try and heal DeathsFang as much as I can, keep him away from me while im doing this. The strength buff i placed on you should help you fight against him, anyway you dont need to defeat him by yourself, just stall while i heal DeathsFang and then i will join you."

Verdana nodded his head ever so slightly, not daring to reply to Tanahon as he knew that if he lost his concentration for even a second Torniquet would cut him down. Verdana slowly walked towards the assassin, his blade in front of him to react to whatever his opponent might do...

Torniquet looked at Verdana and laughed, "You think you can hold me back? Ha! You stand more of a chance saving your friend," quickly gesturing at DeathsFang, " Which is almost no chance at all considering the fact that he has been infected with a special poison of mine... One which I like to line on my blade whenever i hunt... Even if you miraculously fight me off the poison will kill DeathsFang in a week, and in that time he will suffer so much that he would be begging for death to take him by the end of it..."

Verdana was about to curse at Torniquet when the assassin charged at Verdana and swung his knife. Barely managing to lift his sword in time to block the attack, Verdana waited for Torniquet to pull his blade back to launch another attack. However, Torniquet continued to push his knife against Verdana's sword, and with their faces so close to one another that Verdana could smell his breath, Torniquet smiled and said, " And so we begin. Now show me what you've got!"

The plot thickens

Altough Torniquet was an assassin, and usually only used stealth and cunning to defeat his opponent, he had an enormous amount of strength within him. Were it not for the strength buff which Tanahon had casted on Verdana, the battle between the swordsman and the assassin would have ended in seconds with Verdana dead. Even with double his strength Verdana was finding it hard to hold Torniquet off.

" So much for the great son of Glade! You can barely even hold back my blade when you have double your strength! Your father would be dissapointed...", taunted Torniquet.

Anger welled up inside Verdana when he heard what Torniquet had said and a burst of energy coursed through him. He gripped his sword even tighter and with a roar pushed Torniquet back! Surprised by Verdana's sudden strength, Torniquet stumbled. Realizing that the assassin was now susceptible to a counter attack, Verdana wasted no time and quickly began to pressure Torniquet. Verdana struck Torniquet time and time again. However, Torniquet wasn't the best assassin in the Crazies for nothing, he parried all of Verdana's blows while still off balanced.

Although Verdana's rage gave him strength, its also blinded him from noticing the raised stone on the ground before him. Suddenly, Verdana tripped forward on the stone towards his opponent, Torniquet saw Verdana's mistake immediately and seized the opportunity, bringing his blade forward waiting for Verdana to fall right on top of it!

Writer's note: Sry if this part wasn't so good, I'm not used to writing fight scenes. Will try to edit it a bit later on
