Another reasonably important update; I'm gonna be in America for about 3 weeks! This basically means I won't be AS active on SC2sea as I usually am, but I will be taking my laptop to the States so I am going to continue administrating this thread and updating games whilst overseas. I trust the admin team to do a good job while I'm away and organize matches with the clan leaders, so please hit up ToRSynizta, TCPfrogmite or TAEdarus for your BSGCL queries as I most likely won't be active enough to give an immediate response.

I also ask admins and players alike to leave PMs in my SC2sea inbox with game results! I need to not only know final score but who beat who! Check Synizta's post above this one to see the format I like

Just wanted to add in to the TCP v Clanless .. thing.. its not something that anyone was aware of before the match.. and taking free wins for disqualification isn't in the spirit of this league... It all good now - and there was even a TCP and Clanless multi player laddering after the event as a sign of friendship! .. nawwww....

Anyway, just wondering if you have picked a map for week 3? The Clanless waste no time in prep for what will probably be the hardest match up of the season vs KA.

Guys another update! This one less friendly than the others.

It's week 2 of BSGCL, and we've caught 3 people smurfing / losing on purpose for whatever reason whether it be portrait farming or they wanna be the big fish in a little pond I don't really care. The point is, we've caught them and they're banned from any future SC2sea BSGCL or any BSG tournament forever.

Not going to name and shame anyone, I am going to ask team managers as a homework assignment to go through their player lists and check their match history. Go back a few weeks, it's really easy. If you see that the player has a bunch of losses that are only a few seconds / minutes long then it's cause for suspicion, come forward with this information IMMEDIATELY. The admins of BSGCL are mostly busy people can we can't police this ourselves so we're asking for your help to keep the integrity of this league.

Hopefully the consequences are completely clear I know most of the team managers are active SC2sea users, the ones that aren't I'll contact seperately. It's going to be up to them to make sure their team are legitimate BSG players, and if I or any other admin finds a smurf in a couple week's time not only are we gonna ban that player from anything BSG related, we will think twice before allowing that team to enter the BSGCL next season. There won't be a single penalty AT ALL if the team manager or smurfing player comes forward and reports it other than the immediate removal of that player.

I understand that this might seem harsh, please understand I'm a nice guy but the other admins and I work very hard to create a good and fair product for the BSG community. Smurfing is NOT fair on the community. I love this community and I for one won't tolerate it for a second.

A reminder for all teams to check profiles of their players before playing this week, smurfing will not be tolerated. We catch one, that guy / girl is going down and his team will be accountable. Needless to say the other team will be given a free win and the other team will be rewarded with a big fat zero and minus one player.
