I'm curious, what is street parking like around the area. I don't plan on moving out yet but I am betting some of the people who have cars would be interested in how 10 people each with their own car would manage to park.

Yeah we were talking about this in the chat tis morning, There isn't enough parking for every one to have a car. However on the other side of the road is a train track (from the train station that is a 1 min walk away) so that is all public parking along that side of the road, so between the 2 spots in garage, 2/3 in front of our house and 2/3 on the other side of the road we should be fine

early estimates are around 130 a week for the single rooms, though will change depending on how many ppl are allowed to stay by council regulations, and once we get the final cost of internets and utilities.

basically as long as we can get my parents around 1000 pw they are fine to let us do this

Wow friggin amazing house! Now just need Dot to transfer to a Uni in Brisbane and can w00t all the way up there! We currently pay similar rent for a piece of crap house that's falling apart .

Omg that's a glorious looking mansion you have there!! And the rent is so cheap!!!! Makes me want to relocate to australia and set up a sc2sea office..... And rent out my sg flat which is 50x smaller than this but can get 2k aud a month lol funny how different prices are! That's a real possibility in the future tho.

Yea as piggy said they don't all have to be pros, just casual will be nice, ure bound to get heaps of applicants so quality control a bit and fill the house up with awesome people! Gl with this, great idea

To Rossi: It is super cheap compared to Singapore!! That house would be 20k AUD minimum / month not 4kish if it was here haha. still can't believe how cheap it is omg !

for the most part yes, every thing that you see in the photos are still here, thinks like desk and all that when it comes to setting up the gaming room not sure yet what we are going to do with that, if its getting real desk, getting ppl to bring their own desk, or just setting up a bunch of trestle tables.

But as is every room has a bed and either a built in wardrobe, or one that we have put up, we got lounge and eating areas all set up. so as i said for the most part yes it is
