It makes it interesting having different maps imo, and at BSG level, if the map makes you win, you were probably going to win anyway.

That is totally not true... Siege tank and marines at your front is definitely not the same as siege tanks and marines on the ledge behind your base... Similarly, having a wide ass main ramp means you can't wall off with the customary gate, cyber against zerg...

Sorry I been meaning to fix that, have now.

At the end of every week I will announce the map for the following week by updating the OP along with the results. The first week's map is Metalopolis. Every week's starting map will be from the pool. Basically every first game needs to be on this map for this week, but then the team who loses the first map can choose the next map from the pool and so on and so forth.

I've also updated the post that I reserved with team manager contact details! So if your team can't make the default play night of Thursday, please get in touch with the other team's manager via this site and organize your match yourselves. Keep in mind, it MUST be played by the end of next Wednesday.

Thanks for picking that up man, I copied them over from Season 1. Yeah I'm removing those maps from the pool, they're terrible!

As the OP states. The starting map is shown each week at the top of the OP - Week 1 is Metalopolis.

yeah man.. but i wasn't accusing him of being an idiot for not noticing it.. just that this information can be found in the OP and it will show the weekly map each week.

Maynarde,

In your OP you updated to all MLG. Are you sure all maps have MLG? If I recall Nerazim Crypt, Antiga Shipyard, Typhon Peaks and some others don't have MLG because close spawns is still acceptable for Zerg.

Hey man, I'm reasonably sure there are MLG versions of Antiga and Typhon. Not sure about Nerazim. I'll check out SEA's list of MLG maps and if there are any missing I'll update the map pool. For now, just use MLG versions where applicable and ladder version if an MLG version doesn't exist.

Do we have permission to use IPL, ESL etc. version maps if needed?

I was unable to find an MLG Antiga. There is an 'IPL4 Antiga Shipyards' by TPW I am using for PD that has neutral depots below ramps and terrain blockers stopping tanks from sieging the gases from the thirds.

Not sure about Typhon.

The ladder versions of the Season 3 maps aren't broken as far as I know, but I'm not going to be a nazi about it. If you can't find a MLG version and don't want the ladder version, use the approved and legit IPL / ESL versions.

Only ladder map for season 3 that's kinda broken and fixed with a GSL/MLG/etc is Antiuga Shipyards with siegetanks able to siege for 3rd to hit a gas in the main or something.
