It's easy to get into a losing streak if you expect to lose.
When you have a free couple of days, dedicate them to Starcraft. No TV, no Facebook, nothing. Just Starcraft.
Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, play Starcraft. Have lunch, play more Starcraft. Stop for dinner, play more Starcraft. Go to bed at a reasonable hour. Wake up the next day, play more Starcraft.

After your Starcraft marathon, don't play for a couple of days, you'll be doing analysis. Check your win/loss ratio. Has it improved? Have you trashed it? Check your replays - which you have saved, every single game. For each replay, write down your build, and your opponents build. By doing this you can identify which openers you are strong against, and which ones are your weak points.

Once you've identified what you're strong against and what kicks your ass, you need to figure out why. Lets say you've gone through your replays and realised that any time a Protoss player goes Forge Fast Expand, you lose. Why is that? Is it because his economy overtakes yours? Are you not scouting enough, and you aren't ready for that giant first push?

Find commonalities in your losses. Figure out how to overcome them.

There are two ways that people look at the results in SC2.

1) MUST WIN EVERY GAME if i lose im shit waaah. these ones get very upset from losses because they see themselves as "better" than other players.

2) go into the game to LEARN, if they lose to a bronze level they can find out WHY they lost and learn to not do it again.

Seriously no matter what you do in like there will ALWAYS be some1 smart, faster, stronger, richer etc etc. the sooner you realise that the better so i suggest this.

completely IGNORE every ******* part of your games outside of the game. im talking win/loss/league/opponent i dont give a shit.

Sit down and play a game and go in thinking "i want to learn something" because even Boxer/fruitdealer etc are still learning this game, no1 has mastered it yet and probably never will.

So go into everygame wanting to learn something new, EVEN IF U WIN THE GAME, watch the replay actively look for something you could have done better.

I useto be 1).... but ive found since i put myself in this mindset i have more fun and can ladder forever cuz even if i lose i know what i could have done better and will do it next time, and thinking this way u will always get better, if you win a game 100 times in the same way but dont learn how to do anything else, a random bronze can still beat you with something u havent seen AKA tester in GSL2 quals!

I stopped 1v1 laddering once i got into plat. Reason being i can't handle the stress level playing against diamond or high plat. I think i should just stick with my 4v4 laddering..

I have a big problems with nerves too Im not the greatest player but i can win alot of games vs diamond people in custom games / games with friends but the moment I play league I get intimidated by the icons people use and have like 800+ games in 1v1 and my nerves always make me make simple mistakes im so inconstiant on the ladder >.< like i won against a 1550 diamond protoss in p v p and then lose to a 3 rax 950 gold terran because i moved down my ramp to early >.<. I really dont know what it is.. when i see those high end icons I just count my self out before it even begins and i always feel like I am going to be behind.

Experience really seems to be the key. Its a great thing that there are more and more tournaments and 'big games' being arranged to give more people exposure. The quality of SEA players is rising quickly
