1. Let him make the announcement first, nothing is confirmed yet and things are subject to change that is why this thread is going to be closed, its pre-mature and too early to pass judgment.
2. inFi won SEACC yes, and aLt won SEAL and are not being invited too. TA isn't being invited either and these three teams are IMO easily the top 5 teams/clans in SEA. The rationale behind Benji's decision is because he wants it to be a "team tournament" as he feels its only important to grow teams to grow the scene. So to him the skill of "clans" is irrelevant. This is not something i agree with at all, especially since SEA has 5 slots and there are 3 foreign teams from other nations involved as well in this league. I don't want our teams to be slaughtered (2 of the 'pro-teams' invited are VERY questionable) I want SEA to be represented by its best clans/teams so the whole of SEA can get behind our teams in the league, especially when we play the other nations.
Benji feels its only necessary to grow "pro teams" but I think its important to grow both teams and clans, and its also important that SEA is represented by the best teams. This is why I made aLt a "pro team" the same way we sponsored mOOnGLaDe so he could play in NASL as they only allowed participation from players under "pro teams". This is so if Benji decides to run any open qualifiers instead aLt might try to enter. I also told him that if a slot opens up the one team that should get it should be Nv first before all others.
3. I've been furiously suggesting to him to do it right and I suggest you take a civil approach too. As we all know bashing him is not going to change his decisions in any way - RE: The Benji stream feedback thread. So guys stop using this approach over and over and over again. It does not work.
4. It's his tournament after all and can whatever he wants - although I hope he makes some changes so the community can get behind the tournament, theres more exposure / support / the sponsors are happy and we can see more of these type of events.
