Hello everyone.
I have been doing team ladder for the past few day, with hope that i could get in each of my team ladder. So, i would like to share some idea on team ladder. I hope everyone would do the same too.
(PS.: of course not this, i meant Sc2 game. )
1)Your game buddy
In my humble opinion, the guy who in your team is the best weapon in the arsenal. I strongly believe a good team must have strong foundation in communications between the players. If everyone in the team knows what his teammate is doing, the benefits are exceptional. It gives the team confidence. The faith that your teammate knows his game. The full trust in your partner. The belief on the teammate to cover your back on a bad situation. These are extremely valuable assets which have the potential to turn game on it's head, or even win the match.
I believe information that should be shared between team ladder are as follows:
-What is our plan for the game? ( Timed rush?, Hard turtle? Air force? )
-Back up plan? ( Plan B,C,D,E. . . . .)
- How do we implement it? ( First, we should . . . . .)
Nothing can be done without your buddy!
2)Your opponent
In every game, it is important to take advantage of your opponent weakness. It can be classified into 2 parts. The defense and attack of both you and your opponent. It is at all times important on how to exploit any advantage presented by your opponent. Minimized loss of friendly unit should be accounted for. If you do not lose units to your opponent, chances are you are winning the game.
When attacking, point to note as follows:
1) Do you think your combined forces could make a breakthrough?
2) Are there any hard counter? ( s/bling vs BFHellion, Detector vs DT )
3) Where is the soft spot? ( I have seen many players who never defend the rock area )
4) Do not attack alone.
When defending, points to note as follows:
1) Are there any "scout" to spy on your enemy movement?
2) Are there sufficient amount of unit in an event of surprised attack?
3) Do we have the right unit counter?
4) Where should we position our units?
5) Gather of defense force before "greeting" your enemy.
