I'm amazed that people actually use Mutas on Cloud Kingdom, it really looks like the least Muta-friendly map ever! Scary stuff.

my 2 cents - after watching polt play on cloud kingdom vs stephano/lucky in ASUS ROG and just abuse the terrain everytime like how terrans used to do it on the XNC third, it seems superrrrr hard for zergs to hold their 3rd base. it seems fine for other matchups and i like korhal.

haha... and korhal is the map with the ledge tanks can hit the third hatch from...

I need to watch those games of polt, then and learn how to abuse the cloud kingdom terrain.

Oh I havn't seen that, however its kinda hard to get to that position in my opnion.. but yeah dunno havnt actually played that scenario out. Yeah this ladder pool is sick, a pool where tal'darim and entombed are the only vetos? **** chuurrrr

Cloud kingdom. The only ledge over the third is in your main. I think if I get my tanks in there I deserve to get to siege your third, honestly.

As for the 4th on the low ground... there are other 4ths you can take. That particular base is incredibly easy to push into in TvZ though, certainly. It's a bitch if they walk two infestors up there and fungal a saturated mineral line, too.

They aren't that bad on the map, just hard to get into the main with. Still good for harassing the nat and further bases.
Banshees, however is a strat that i don't think has any potential on this map.

I was responding to Nirvana saying cloud kingdom is hard to hold a third because of terrain abuse.

And i suppose they kind of do . Not sure how many of them can just be sieged up from the high ground though.
