Hello everyone i'm lolwut and i'm currently having some trouble on the ladder. I feel that i just can't play any better but i know i can. I already try to make my gameplay better as much as i can by watching pro replays and my own replays but sadly it's just not enough for me to break the wall to diamond.
So what i'm asking is for someone to please play some games with me and give me a few tips. You don't have to play much games, Just 1 or 2 and point out the obvious flaws in my play. I can understand if people don't want to play a plat nub though.
So if your interested i am a zerg high platnuim player.(diamond on NA) And my code is lolwut#901 for the SEA server.
Hopefully i get some replies and i am sorry if this is supposed to be in the strategy and improvement section. If so then i am fine if any admins move it there.

I'll play you we should be about the same level for most matchups (I can play all races, with Zerg being my best.
Of course, if you were looking for some leet GMs like shortizz to improve yourself then it's ok you can disregard my post I'll add you when I get on, can't rem the char code of TheGrayZerg
I'm going to give you two tips, and hopefully they will help you a tonne! Basically, you want to try scouting as much as possible throughout the game. Aim to know exactly what your opponent is doing based on his tech and army size throughout the entire game. You can achieve this by scouting via 'ovie saccing', ling runbys, and a few other forms of scouting. It is important to always have a reasonably good knowledge of your opponent's army composition, size and upgrades so that you can alter your gameplay accordingly. Alternatively, try and know when to drone appropriately in every matchup. I found that when I was progressing from platinum through to diamond, these were the main problems in my gameplay.
Here is a good video by Day9 which outlines the perfect time to drone during a game:
I'm hoping that this helps you improve your gameplay, and if you have any other questions about how you could improve, I am free to help most days of the week. I can help you analyse a few replays and take note of some important areas in which you could improve. PM me on sc2sea.com, or add me in game - Paroxysm.938.
day9 and many others say pick a single thing and focus on that even at the detriment of all other things. Your goal is not to win but to do better in each game in the facet you are trying to improve
I think most important above all else is your injects
Focus solely on having little to no energy later and later into the game.
The next thing would be using all of those scouting tricks while doing the first thing
then creep spread
Ok first everyone I would like to say thank you all for your help!
@crAerk: Of course i'll play you Your probably better than me anyway and thank you for offering to help, I'm sure you will. Could you please add me or give me your code?
@Paroxysm Yeah i think my scouting is kind of letting me down or i scout too late. I try to hold xel naga towers and poke with a ling every few minutes or so but I think i need to also poke with an overlord/overseer
Thanks for reccomending a vid but unfortunately my internet isn't good enough to do more than 15 minutes of videos
@Meatex Thanks for the advice. I may try work on spreading my overlords out around the map and creep spread.
Hey lolwut, dazaris here. We played a game a few days ago. Just a few things I noticed in that game that you can improve on in the ZvP matchup.
1. Positioning. I should have lost the game we played due to throwing away a bunch of stalkers and sentries taking out your third and mismacroing. You were way ahead of me in army. You attacked into one of the small chokes on Xel Naga however and didn't focus fire my colossus (I had three). This meant that your superior force of Roach Infestor got butchered in a very cost inefficient manner. You did the same thing in the last engagement where I attacked at one of the chokes of your natural. Pulling back and forcing me into a bunch against your concave would have infinitely been better.
2. Upgrades. I was 3-1 with Colossus + Stalker + Sentry by the end of the game while you were on 0-0. Is one other reason why the last few exchanges went so one sidedly.
3. Composition. You saw I was going mass Stalker + Sentry + Colossus (Emphasis on the colossus, I built way too many) and could have switched techs to something more effective. Broodlords would have been great as I was light on anti-air, but mass unupgraded Roach + Infestor wouldn't work against that many colossus, especially with a half decent spread.
Your macro seems good though so if you can just work on things like that I expect you'll be crushing face in no time.

Hi. Yeah I think some other things i need to do like there was one point in the game (bout 13 mins in) where you killed my 3rd then i killed your army. I could have retaliated straight after that if i had scouted a saw your army.
Also spreading creep and map control wasn't too good and the fact that i had a spire a didn't build collusus was XD. I wasn't playing too good lol. That's weird i usually do get upgrades. Must have forgot that game
Also does someone know a site i can upload a replay on except for www.sc2replayed? sc2replyd is not working for me.

The best way to get better is to practice and watch streams for Build Orders. Also realizing why you win/lose by watching replays is a very important part of the game
