Because packets are sent from your computer to the server, not from you to your opponent. (Server-sided not peer 2 peer if that makes more sense). And then the server's packets are sent back to you with the new information (meaning its impossible to get a direct ip address of the other person, only the server-ip, and therefore u cannot have an af3ftz on the 0ther p3rzonz yo.)
