Random carrier thought. One of the major crippling weakness of stargate play for Protos is lack of observers. Give Carrier 2 kinds of interceptors normal kind one. Here is the idea ... one that doesnt do damage but has detection (small range), costs gas, maybe takes up 2 interceptor spots. Well inside the carrier it would have a detection range of 1 or 2(per detecting interceptor), well "attacking" would have a detection range of target or detection range of 2 well it hovers/circles above target.
The idea is the player can make a choice between extra DPS or some much needed detection for stargate play. Would make carriers an interesting unit. Carrier would also likely need a recycle interceptor ability to alter the number of interceptors in it.
