Hello there SC2SEA.com community,

I'm Psych, a Terran player, I would like to ask some help or advises about TvP late game and applying mid-game pressure to P.

Here's a replay (http://drop.sc/234182), which I noticed my mistake was getting 3 Techlabs (no reactors) from a 1 RAX FE build. But I was manage to go lategame against this Protoss player which he mainly got mass Zealots with Archons/High Templars. I reacted with Mass Marines/Ghost with few Marauders. We already had 4 to 5 bases. Still I lost.

Any advises or tips and build order suggestion for this matchup would be great. Thanks.

split up your bio to harass many locations at once, also try deny the fourth as long as possible. Bio is more cost effective in smaller numbers.

Sit behind like 2 planetary fortresses and start throwing scvs while you have like 15 ghosts and a shit ton of bio and if he attacks youll smash it each time, just make sure you snipe obs too. then transition to battlecruisers - watch mvp squirtle game 5 or 6 i dont know which one it was with the vortex, just make sure you dont do what he did vs vortex

Against mass zealot/templar tech, a fairly recent but effective style is to get a buttload of ghosts. They directly counter everything in your opponent's army, and are quite viable on a 4 base economy.

but by the time there is 4 base econ the protoss should have collo and everything he needs already lol

I watched your replay and the only errors I could really see were your engagements and possibly a lack of drops.

Ghost control looks to be something you need to have a look at in your replay, as well as drops to pull the protoss units out of position.

in the same way toss has to spread templar you have to spread your ghosts so they don't get mega focused and allows you a better retention rate when you push forward emp some army pull back, rince repeat with only losing marines and marauders.

Another thing I have noticed in general is making sure you don't have too many medivacs, because of how Storm and archons dish out their damage, lots of medivacs aren't super effective unless you have really nice pickup and drop micro.

In some of your engagements if you can try to force the toss into a choke so you get better emps while you do a run by and those kind of things.

Just do pressure like bomber with 5 rax and get ahead so you can head into the late game well
