What is it?
Think of it like a house, like the SlayerS house or the oGs-TL house. You have this small group of people practising together. So this is basically the same thing, just without the house. Just a small group of people gathered together, with something they want to focus on and the members could discuss with each other and the likes.
Great so how do I start?
There's 2 ways to start. One, you could join a group you think suits you which is being formed by PM-ing the initiator. Or two, you can start one yourself.
How do I start a group?
Just post on this thread about a group you want to start with info on the group, such as what league of players you're looking for, how to apply, how many members are you looking to have in the group and what you want the group to be.
And the beauty of it is that you can start just about any type of group. What do I mean by this? Well let's say you're a 1v1 Silver leaguer, and you want to have a group of other Silver leaguers who you want to practice with, you can start said group. Or you are someone that wants 2v2 partners for playing with you and as practice partners, you can start a group with 6 or 8 people and start 2v2-ing away. Or even a group that just wants to hang out, discuss about replays and watch streams together, I don't see why not.
Then isn't this basically forming a clan?
In a sense, this is a clan, but on a much smaller scale. Having just a group of as small as 6 people or as large as 15 people, with no real leader, just a group that discussed and have decided on a direction in terms of goals and routes for achieving said goal.
So why not just join a clan?
Well you could. But as stated above, this is slightly different from a clan. As I have not been a part of a clan or guild before, I can't really tell how it is but in this, there is no hierarchical structure, nor a fixed place of gathering such as a forum. The group just interacts with each other like a group of friends deciding they want to practice together. Also the level of commitment may vary from clans where in this, a group may want to have their members participate maybe just once a week or have members practicing together every night. This is where the discussion between members comes in.
What about Pracbud?
What about them? I think this is about the same, just that instead of having a channel where you could go to to find practice buddies, you find those guys here on the forum, and move along with the group of gathered people.
I'm in a clan. Can I still join?
I don't see a problem. If you could handle both then why not.
Chat channel?
There is none.
So how do I communicate with another group member?
Well ask your group members. If they decide to use windows live messenger, then its that. If they decide to use an in-game chat channel, then its that. If they decide to use IRC, then its that. Remember, your group decides, not me

Top Master Toss here, anyone interested practice with me can PM me online iRLProannn.406 OR PM me on sc2sea. I wouldn't mind coaching gold-plat level players(have practice partners for you).

I don't visit sc2sea often so add me on real ID/MSN, mahrnhan@hotmail.com.
Anyone from high masters (last season) to GM would be fine.
Note : For those starting their own groups, do keep me informed and updated so that I can make the necessary changes on this post =D
