GIGABYTE would like to announce their GIGABYTE E-Sports Championships
2011 Starcraft 2 Invitational tournament. The tournament will see
thirty-two of the best Australian Starcraft 2 players, from across the
country, invited to compete for over $6,500 in cash prizes.
The cash prize ($5,000) break down is as follows:
1st place - $2,500
2nd place - $1,500
3rd place - $750
4th place - $250
The tournament will be double-elimination, with each match played out
as best-of-three, and held in Melbourne at Respawn LAN on the 24th of
September. This will be the second GESC event of 2011 and will be the
first Starcraft 2 event by the team behind GESC.
Invited players will have the pleasure of playing all matches out on
over $30,000 worth of Gigabyte, Intel and GeIL powered gaming machines
featuring Intel Core i7 processors, Gigabyte Motherboards and GeIL
DDR3 Memory.
The team behind GESC hope to make this Starcraft 2 tournament one of
the best for 2011 with a great prize pool and environment for the
players to compete in.

Update: Hi everyone, as GIGABYTE is aiming to provide a great
event for the Australian community, they wish to accommodate for all
interested players. We hope to provide the community with a great
event to spectate, and a chance for local Melbourne players to compete
against top-ranking australian players. Registration is now open for
all players interested and able to attend, please read details below
on how to register, and due to the 32 player limit we will send out
wild card invites to a selection.
