So by now you've more than likely heard about IXL's new direction. If you haven't, then please have a read of this thread and our new Code of Conduct.

Integral to our new direction is that the clan comprises people who are happy to abide by the Code. It's not there just for the sake of having rules. We carefully drafted this because it sets the standards and lays the foundation for the kind of culture that we want in IXL.

This Notice applies to pre-reboot members (i.e. are not mentioned in the IXL Reboot thread as being part of the Management team or anyone that Management has not already spoken to and approved behind the scenes in the last week. In order to continue to be part of IXL, you will be required to reaffirm your allegiance to the clan by applying to renew your membership via the IXL site.

We're going to be absolutely clear about this and my apologies in advance if it seems overly harsh but it is crucial to the clan's success. No one's membership renewal is a guaranteed.

Please bear in mind that we've been planning this refresh for some time now. And yes we've more than noticed when those who profess to be proud IXL members have actually talked down the clan, BM'd other members, even other clans or other players in a manner which brings IXL into disrepute, or even tried to create unnecessary politics. We'll ask you nicely to please move along... nothing to see here.

Bottom line is if you can't bring yourself to abide by some simple standards then please refrain from submitting an application to renewal. Those who are ready, willing and able to bring a positive contribution and vibe to IXL, we looking forward some GAAAAMEEEZZZZ and awesome times ahead!!!!

Finally, I should note that any chat (forum, Skype or whatever) which purports to be an IXL chat is not considered to be an official IXL channel unless it is moderated by a Management team member.
