This is the official God of Meta Cup 2 Thread where all updates, information and progress for the next 2 months will be.

For those who have not been following us so far, read this for the background :

Even though we had created more spaces, we sadly cannot include every request. Nevertheless, we thank everyone for their interest. Players who have indicated their interest but whose names are not included, do continue to support and hang around.

Ok the very SERIOUS and IMPORTANT information for the 44 participants :

Round of 44
Group Brackets :

Format :
This is the Round Robin format. So each player needs to do a BO1 with each player in your group (Total : 5 games). Top 2 players from each group will advance into the round of 16.

Starting Map :
Take turns to veto current ladder maps. Last map remaining is starting map for each pair of players.

Schedule :
24-Nov 2013 (Sun) to 8-Dec 2013 (Sun)

First set/game must be done by 1-Dec (Sun).
This is to prevent delays and backlog of games holding everyone back. Any reasons for not being able to do so must be given. Please value your GMC2 slot. You are strongly encouraged not to procrastinate to the last couple of days as your opponent/opponents might not be able to play on the last few days etc.

Format :
BO3 (Double elimination GSL format)
Starting Map for each set :
Set 1 : Yeonsu LE (2)
Set 2 : Star Station TE (2)
Set 3 : Bel'Shir Vestige LE (2)

Results and Replays :

• Please set game privacy to 'No match history' before start of game.
• All players will be in Skype groups for easier communication between players.
• Results and Replays must be sent to Probe or Nemesis as soon as possible after the game(s) has ended via Skype. Please rename replays to include player names.
• It is important for confidentiality for this round within the groups as arrangements for the groups to be casted (from replays) is planned. And it won't be fun if everyone else knew the results right?

Briefly the schedule/format :

Round of 44: 24-Nov 2013 (Sunday) to 8-Dec 2013 (Sunday)
This is the Round Robin format. So each player needs to do a BO1 Top 2 players from each group will advance into the round of 16.

Round of 16: 9-Dec 2013(Monday) to 23-Dec 2013 (Monday)
The round of 16 will have 4 groups of 4 where games will be BO3’s and will feature the Double Elimination/GSL format style.

Round of 8: 27-Dec 2013 (Friday) to 12-Jan 2013 (Sunday)
Top 2 players from each group again, will qualify to the round of 8 (BO3s, Single elimination format) until the finals.

Semi-finals and Finals: 18- Jan 2013 (Saturday) OR 19-Jan 2013 (Sunday)
