After the fun from our first God of Meta Cup (GMC) , the question heaps of people have been asking...
When is the next GMC?
Wait no longer! We are officially announcing the advent of
GMC #2
!
Even though GMC is a mGG in house tournament, we have heard the request for more non-mGG members to join us. So this round we have decided to make it bigger and hopefully better with more funzies to go around.
While the majority of the players are still from , this round we have included members as well. Various players who have indicated interest prior to this announcement had also been invited to indicate their interest in this sign up thread : http://challonge.com/tournaments/signup/y0F3qa2ewY
So what's different now?
We start with a round of 44. (WHAT?!!!)
Players will be in 7 groups of 6 players and will do a round robin format BO1 over 2 weeks.
(Wait! You said 44 but that's 42?)
Yes. 2 players will be seeded into round of 16. These 2 players are defending champion Probe and Kreamy (1st runners up) from our first GMC.
Top 2 players from each group will advance into the round of 16. The round of 16 will have 4 groups of 4 where games will be BO3’s and will feature the Double Elimination/GSL format style.
Top 2 players from each group again, will qualify to the round of 8 (BO3s, Single elimination format) until the finals.
Briefly the schedule will look like this: Round of 44: 24-Nov 2013 (Sunday) to 8-Dec 2013 (Sunday) Round of 16: 9-Dec 2013(Monday) to 22-Dec 2013 (Sunday) Round of 8: 27-Dec 2013 (Friday) to 12-Jan 2013 (Sunday) Semi-finals and Finals: 18- Jan 2013 (Saturday) OR 19-Jan 2013 (Sunday)
!! IMPORTANT !!
What we need now :
All players who have indicated interest MUST confirm either by posting in this
thread
OR via
Skype
to one of the admins by 17-Nov (Sunday)
Who are the admins?
Nemesis, Probe and Stormz
Upon confirmation, the groups will be released latest 24-Nov (Sunday) .
Until then, GL HF!
