Clanwar Updates
Some important changes :
2 seasons ago, Blizzard made an important no-mid-season demotion change with regards to placing players into their leagues. As a result, many players found themselves demoted by 1-2 leagues at the start of season. This resulted in some confusion with regards to tournaments and clanwars. Many laddered but a good number had failed to get back to previous league levels. This season, some who have failed to get promoted, may have found themselves demoted again.

As such, we have made some changes to our PD division and saw the guidelines debut in our clanwar vs ToR on 15th Sept.

These players (ex masters) are now in the PD division :

• Ex masters and even gms (obtained only briefly in WOL) who have just returned to playing HOTS and have yet to achieve masters in HOTS

HOTS have been with us since March, so returning members who are just returning to HOTS had to be reassigned. So ex masters or even gms (obtained briefly in WOL), who are just returning to HOTS, are now in the PD division until they obtain masters in HOTS. This will enable them to play in some PD clanwars.

• Ex masters in HOTS who have been demoted since 2 seasons [Blizzard 2013 Season 4] ago when Blizzard affected the change

We had included ex masters who have been demoted since 2 seasons [Blizzard 2013 Season 4] ago when Blizzard affected the change and these ex masters, despite active laddering, who have been unable to get their masters back again. Last season we had decided to wait for a whole season before making a decision regarding this.

However, in any clanwar, we will be capping ex masters at 2 per clanwar and these players will be indicated as such to make it clearer
(ex /) next to their names if the leagues are being specified. *Discretion and common sense will still be used*
