Blizzard [Blizzard] 2012 Season 4 Ladder Lock

Blizzard have announced that the ladder lock for Season 4 of 2012 will go into effect on October 25th.

Ladder Lock:
24th October, 2012 23:59 CEST


What a ladder lock means for you is that you will be unable to be promoted or demoted from your current league and your bonus pool will cease growing but your matchmaking rating will continue to rise or fall based on your performance. After a week of ladder lock Season 4 will officially conclude on the 1st November, 2012 and Season 5 will begin.

Season 5 Commences:
1st November,2012 00:01 a.m. CET


Blizzard have also fixed two issues relating to ladders from the previous season:

It should now no longer be possible to achieve negative bonus pool after moving down the ladder from leagues with higher bonus pool rates.
Players will now always be placed into a league after playing placement matches.
