GRAND FINAL
2030Hrs AEST: Team Night
VS
Fusion Slugs
The grand final sees a rematch between Team Night and the Fusion Slugs, who faced off in Week 1. Then Team Night crushed the Slugs, with a 5-1 drubbing. Thus they probably wear the favorites tag leading into this game, but anything can happen in this format!
Team Night followed their week 1 win, with a tight 5-4 win over QED, but then lost to mGG. In their semi final last week they managed another 5-1 scoreline over ToR. The team has the best win ratio in the tournament and the most wins. They are looking really good to take the title! Their key weapon to date has been nDLRaptor, who is 8-1 which including a 4 kill and a 3 kill, which was against the Slugs.
The Fusion Slugs bounced back from that week 1 drubbing and have won 3 in a row, with wins over mGG (5-3), QED (5-3) and last week FaDe (5-3). It has really been a team effort from the Slugs, with them being the only team not to have a player with 5 map wins to date and have only have a 3-kill and nothing higher. But this does mean they are a hard team to prepare for, with numerous players who have shown on their day, can take down some of the big names of the tournament.
This match will probably all come down to how the Fusion Slugs XvZ matchups stand up, after Zergs TNanubis and nDLRaptor defeated them in Round 1 and how much of Team Nights wins have come from Zerg players.

3rd/4th Playoff
2030Hrs AEST: FaDe
VS
ToR
Both teams have played really well this tournament and should be very proud of making it to the Bronze playoff match. FaDe and ToR have again already faced off before, a match which went down to the final ace match, with FaDe winning 5-4. It should be another close encounter!
FaDe are 2-2 in the tournament, with wins over ToR and IXL, but suffered a loss to TCP and Fusion Slugs last week. Interestingly both losses correlated with ChaynesOre losing a game (although his loss in the game against TCP was after a 3 kill!). ChaynesOre is definitely the ace for FaDe, going 9-2 to date and all killing IXL. FaDe also has the most consistent lineup having only used 7 players to date.
ToR meanwhile actually only have a 1-2 record (after their game with IXL was called off). They beat TCP 5-4, before their 4-5 loss to FaDe. Last week they couldn't hold off Raptor, who produced a 4 kill to give ToR a 5-1 loss! But ToR aren't pushovers, with their own zerg ToROzliam having gone 5-2 during the tournament.
This match will probably again come down to the Zergs. If ToR can stop ChaynesOre they have a great shot at winning. Likewise if ToROzliam has a quiet day, FaDe will probably be in the box seat. Then again maybe it will be the day for another member of each team to step up and shine. Indeed in their previous meeting, the wins where shared by 4 players per side, with only one player getting more then a single win.

5th/6th Playoff
2030Hrs AEST: QED
VS
mGG
The 5th/6th playoff match sees two teams who could of easily made the finals if a game or two could of gone their way. The two teams faced off in Week 1, where QED pulled off an impressive 5-2 victory. mGG though have been building momentum as the tournament has gone on, so QED can't take this match lightly!
After the win over mGG, QED had losses to their other group opponents Team Night and Fusion Slugs. Both were very close games however and a win against other side probably would of seen them top the group. Last week QED took down IXL 5-1, thanks to Gotse and Fridge. Goste has actually been a bit of a star, going 5-3 to date, despite being a league player. They also have Bloodmyst at 4-2 and a few platinum players who were BSG, and two Diamond players in Attzy and Fridge. QED are a little spoiled for choice but those players need to perform on the night in order to take the win.
mGG are also 2-2 in the tournament. After losing in the first two weeks to QED and then the Fusion Slugs, the team has bounced back with impressive wins against Team Night and then TCP. Their win against TCP was all thanks to mGGZeratul, who managed an all kill. He will be important again but he has good backup in Maverick (4-2) and Tiger (2-0). If those three players can win the majority of the games against the probably heavy platinum and up lineup from QED, mGG will get the win.
I think QED are slight favorites leading into this one, especially if Attzy and Fridge fire. mGG will also have to watch out for Goste who has put QED in a good position in a few matches early on.

7th/8th Playoff
2030Hrs AEST: TCP
VS
IXL (Ninth Legion)
Whilst both these teams are playing to avoid the wooden spoon, both teams are full of quality and would give both grand finalists a run for their money. When you look at the stats, both teams have a 42% individual game win rate for the tournament.. Yet they are facing off for last spot. Just shows how close this tournament has been! The teams faced off in week 2 where IXL took their only win of the tournament, with a IXLCircuit all kill!
TCP will look back at this tournament and be frustrated at how close they came to winning most of their games. Two of their losses were from all kills and their other loss was a 5-4 result. If they had managed to take down those single players, or got one more win vs ToR, they might be sitting in the grand final game. TCPKerO is probably their key player, who is now in Platinum but is a BSG player. He has gone 5-4 so far, and was unable to win a game both times they were all killed. TCP thought have a huge squad to pick from and they will be looking at their actual Platinum players to step up and win some games as they havent really done so, to date.
IXL meanwhile have had a pretty tough tournament. They are a new side but have a lot of potential, but late player submissions and other issues have held them back from a true showing of their skills. This week I really hope they manage to start from a 0-0 standpoint and show off their skills. Indeed we saw an indication of this last time these two sides met, with the IXLCircuit all kill. Only Adun and Vigossive have managed wins apart from that though. But I would definitely not underestimate them. This tournament will give them a lot of experience and other teams have shown, its only your performance on the night that counts!
Starting Players: Redux iZerb () vs vs Walkover (IXL did not submit a player)
* IXL will pick a player to play Redux at the start time, but start 1-0 down
* Map will still be ESV Muspelheim Casters: TBC
