Hi all,

I have made this thread to make known a little situation that has come up for PiG.

A few weeks ago he qualified for IEM Cologne alongside He-Who-Is-Too-Dashing, mOOnGLade. There was much excitement at first for this would be the second time he got to compete at an IEM and he hoped to redeem himself from his last effort in Guangzhou where he didn't manage to win any games.

The funding required for this endeavour has fallen a bit short unfortunately. This is in part due to his main sponsor, Tt, recently dropping a large fortune on their EB Expo booth and not having enough funds to fully support his trip. The bad timing has resulted in him being $470 short of what is needed to go to IEM Cologne. The flights and accommodation have been booked with mostly borrowed money.

The figures so far

Tt and Gigabyte funding: $1000
IEM guaranteed prize money: $950
Total funding: $1950

Flight to Frankfurt (return): $1725
Train to Cologne (return): $110
Accommodation: $285
Transport & Food: $300
Total required: $2420

Total needed from fundraising: $470

What I ask of the community

Having been a part of his pro-gaming career since the beginning I can't begin to describe how amazing it is when I see so many people support him. From things such the ONOG invitational (where we showed our Aussie pride to the world) to ACLs (where he finally broke his third place curse and gained an interesting nickname along the way) this community has blown me away with its capacity to support our aspiring pro gamers.

So now I ask it of you again. Help send PiG to IEM Cologne.

How to donate via Paypal

Money can be sent directly to PiG using these steps:

To thank everyone, when he comes back from IEM PiG will do a whole day of streaming which will provide free coaching and advice, answering questions about the game, analysing replays, playing team games and any other awesome Starcraft activities. Its not much but hopefully anyone wanting some advice will take him up on it, or come along for some entertainment. Will post a thread about it after IEM so anyone interested can come along.
